The End Of The Begining

I took a deep breath, fixing my bowtie for the 100ths time that day.

I jumped a little, shaking my hands as I did so.

I am so nervous.

I gulped.

There was a knock on the door, and as I turned my head I saw Michael walk in with Bella and Daisy, having slight troubles, as he was also carrying a 6 month bump.

I quickly walked over, taking Bella, so the poor pregnant guy didn't stress and overuse himself.

''How is the baby?'' I asked, carefully placing a hand on his bump, receiving a light kick, which somehow made me calm down a little.

''Great. Except for at night. Apparently it's fun to sleep on my bladder.'' Michael said, and groaned, as he rolled his eyes.

I laughed shortly, feeling the nerves come back.

''How about you? Are you ready?'' Michael asked, as he sat Daisy on the table, where she began trying to undo her hair.

Michael quickly pulled her hands away, lightly shaking his head no.

''I'm ready, but I'm also really nervous.'' I said, biting my lip lightly, where there once was a lip ring.

I got in a fight with some guys a few months ago, where it fell out.

But it was fun and I regret nothing.

I looked at Bella who was wearing the cutest dress ever, making her eyes pop.

I smiled slightly, readjusting her headband, pushing her curls out of her face.

She giggled lightly, her dimples showing on her slightly tanned skin.

I kissed her forehead, before setting her down.

I took a deep breath, looking at Michael.

''Let's do this.'' I said, as I heard the bells begin ringing.

-

''I do.'' I said, looking into the eyes of the man I love.

I smiled as we slipped the rings on each others fingers.

''You may now kiss.'' The priest said, before Ashton pulled me closer, kissing me deeply.

I heard everyone cheer, as I pressed my lips, against the man I loved.

I giggled lightly, smiling as I looked out, over my family and friends.

''I love you.'' I heard Ashton whisper, as his arms went around me.

I smiled at him, brushing some hair out of his eyes, looking at him lovingly.

''I love you too.'' I whispered, kissing him lightly.

-

''Ashton! The babies are coming! The babies are coming!'' I yelled as I held onto my pregnant stomach, as another contraction went through me.

Triplets.

We're having triplets, and when we found out, I freaked out.

I felt Ashton pick me up, rushing outside to the car.

''I've called Michael, and they're here in five minutes, to look after the kids. The bag is in the back, and I'm picking up the seats in a few days, but before you're coming home.''Ashton said, as he helped me into the back seat.

I nodded shortly, holding tightly onto my stomach.

''Just drive already. It hurts.'' I said, as pain shot through me.

-

''Look at them ash.'' I whispered, as our two girls and one boy laid and slept.

''He looks a lot like you.'' Ashton said, as he sat by our new son.

I smiled softly, as I looked at him.

''Elliot will be so happy with having a brother.'' Ashton said, and I smiled at him, rubbing his cheek.

-

''Why are you so stupid!?'' Ashton yelled, as tears filled my eyes.

Ashton had been out drinking.

Again.

''Ashton please keep it down... I just got the triplets to sleep..'' I said, in a slightly hushed tone.

''Do I look like I fucking care!?'' He yelled, before I fell to the floor, pain spreading across my cheek.

I looked up at Ashton, tears running down my cheeks.

I stood up, looking him in the eye.

''If you don't care, then why are you still here. We would be better off without you waisting all our money on drinking.'' I said, my voice emotionless.

It was harsh and cold, but it was the truth.

''Go pack your stuff, and leave. I don't want to look at you right now.'' I said, before leaving the room, and going upstairs and into the triplet's room.

I sighed softly, looking at them.

They're already 4.

I sat down, looking at them, as I heard grunts and huffs from the bedroom.

The door slammed shut, and Lias stirred a bit in his sleep, but quickly fell down again.

I heard the steps from Ashton as he walked  down the stairs, soon after slamming the front door shut.

I slowly stood up, walking into the bedroom, seeing all the pictures lying broken on the floor.

I turned off the lights, pulling off my clothes, as I walked over, laying on my side in the bed.

-

''Dad...? Who was our other dad...?'' Fizzie, one of the triplets, asked, looking at me, with her big, curious eyes.

''Well... I would like it if I either didn't have to tell you, or that I could call him a good man... But I can't...'' I said, as I looked down at my tea cup, my wrinkled, old hands were holding.

''Can you tell us something about him..?'' Lias asked, lifting his pierced eyebrow.

''He was never a real dad, and I'm glad he's gone.'' Elliot said, looking out of the window.

''Don't say that.. He is after all our dad.'' Fizzie said, looking at Elliot with a stern look.

''Ashton Fletcher Irwin... He was in the army when we met... I was engaged to someone else...'' I began telling the story of how we met, the story and moments filling me with happiness, and other times with sadness.
