"How are you alive?" I asked feeling my anger rise."I .. I."
"Wait you're Amir?" Shiloh said suddenly.
"Who's asking."
"You're the one." Shiloh said while nodding his head, his answer giving him confirmation.
My brows burrowed in confusion as to why Shiloh was suddenly so interested in my father.
"What's the problem Shiloh?"
I asked stepping in front of him with my hands on my hips.
"You're him." He said as his eyes focused in on Amir letting out a humorless laugh. He looked like a lunatic.
He began nodding his head once again.
"Shiloh?" I asked softly trying to get him to look at me.
"He's the one." He said ignoring me completely.
"The one for what!?"
"He killed my father." He said barely above a whisper.
Before I could process this new information everything seem to go in slow motion. Shiloh had a gun aimed at my father in 2.5 seconds. Even Dijon looked confused but he didn't hesitate to pull out his weapon.
Both of them had their guns trained on my father. One wrong move and he's done.
"What the Fuck!" I screamed.
This was not Shiloh. Not the Shiloh I was starting to get to know. Not the one I was starting to...
Never mind all that, this is not my Shiloh. I looked at him with a wide eye expression, shock written all over my face.
"You killed him! You blew his fucking head off." He screamed at my father, shivering at the thought. Covered in sweat.
I realized that Shiloh was talking about his uncle.
"Your talking about Tod? Your Tod's Kid?" My father asked for clarification.
"Motherfucker you know who exactly I am, I was there. YOU and that bitch killed my father."
"You was there?"
Shiloh laughed again.
"You killed the one person who loved me unconditionally and now I'm all fucked up." He said with spit dripping from his mouth.
I looked from Shiloh to Dijon.
"Dijon you have to calm him down, if he kill my father I'll never be able to forgive him."
"Meadow I advise you to back the fuck up cause the way I look at it, you no longer have a father."
No. This is going all wrong. I was suppose to find my parents alive and well. Whatever bullshit excuse they gave me would've been taken with a grain of salt. It's not suppose to end like this. It's suppose to end with us being together and me becoming whole.
The sound of the gun getting taken off of safety bought me out of my day dream and made me alert. I stepped in front of my father with a newfound confident. Shiloh isn't going to shoot me. Is he?
"Shiloh I know how you're feeling."
"No the fuck you dont! Move out of the way."
"You don't think I know? Your father killed my mother. Do you see her around here"
"I don't claim my real father if you have beef take it up with him."
