"Daddy!" cried a young girl, running towards a raven-haired man along with a Pikachu on his shoulder as he entered their home from a day at work.

"How's my Princess?" said Ash, picking her up and twirling her in the air.

"Good!" she said, laughing as her father stopped twirling her.

"Hi, Pikachu!" the young girl said, giggling as she cuddled the electric mouse Pokémon in her arms.

"Pika-pi!"

A woman with honey-blonde hair and ocean-blue eyes walked out of the kitchen and approached the two.

The little girl ran back to her, with Pikachu still in her arms.

"Mommy! Daddy's home!" she yells in excitement.

"I can see that, Lara." says her mother, laughing as she pets Pikachu's ears.

"Chaaaa~" Pikachu cooed, enjoying his pet.

But his pet was cut short as Lara's mother stood up and ran into Ash's arms.

"And how's my Kalos Queen?" he asks, holding Serena in his arms.

"Amazing," she says, closing the gap between their faces in a kiss.

"Eww! Mommy and Daddy are kissing!" said Lara, sticking her tongue out in a disgusted face.

The couple embarrassedly pulled out of their kiss as they realized that their young daughter was watching.

"Oh, Serena?" Ash asks, pulling out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Yes, my love?" she says, turning her face to him with a small wink.

Ash, slightly blushing, handed her the piece of paper without a word.

Except it wasn't a piece of paper; it was a photograph.
