Two collages today and you totally know which one is for who-shall-not-be-named just yet.

And the next collage is mostly a sneak peak of what I see the two main characters slowly coming relationship. Now this is what I expect it to blossom into, it's like an idea. Not totally decided yet. And it doesn't exactly define their relationship, if that makes any sense.

Cat soon realized that the elders wanted her to visit their headquarters.

The mysterious, out of nowhere, voicemail had consisted of curt and to the point information. It entailed Cat about where, how and when to get to the council meeting.

Not why.

Frustrated and a easily agitated girl, all Cat wanted to do was scream at their faces and tell them to go to hell.

But she knew that she couldn't, there were even punishments for disrespecting the leaders.

A cruel world for sure.

So the morning had started out like every other day but it surely wouldn't end the same.

As for now, Cat had quickly showered and shrugged on a warm grey cashmere sweater and white tight ass jeans. Her watch, a gift from her parents and other accessories including a three tiered necklace donned on as well.

With a sigh and the feeling of exhaustion draining her, she was quick to pick up her bag, slip on her heels, fish out the keys and walk to the awaiting Uber.

Outside the world was gloomy, it was raining hard and she had no umbrella on her. Feeling like Holly Golightly, she ran to the car and slipped in.

It would be a long journey and a true exhausting one.

*******

A few stops on the way and she was finally here. The old mansion was surrounded with people bustling through and her uber driver stared at it in awe.

She got out of the car and walked to the gates.

The mansion was truly magnificent, it was an off white color with cobblestone driveways and tons of sport cars outside.

There were people everywhere, most importantly werewolves.

They stared at her and they stared at the human driver who was pulling out. They whispered and they gossiped.

They made faces.

They laughed at her.

They called out to her, mockingly.

They almost, almost had her in tears.

But long ago, Cat had decided that people weren't worth it. She had lost her faith in them and she was adamant to be the strong women she knew she could be in a few years.

For now she would have to pretend.

Entering the grandiose mansion, she saw an impeccably styled foyer and an old butler. Everyone she passed by was gorgeous and all Cat felt was insecure.

The old butlers eyes narrowed at her, instant distaste flashing through his eyes. She knew who he was, he was Carlos.

An old man that she had grew up around, who she considered as her second father.

And one of the first people to abandon her.

"Hello Carlos, how are you?" Cat questioned, not wanting to be impolite but at the same time searching for comfort in his once warm eyes.

He huffed, did not answer her and turned around taking long strides as he walked away.

She followed him through long hallways that had rich red carpets and gold framed paintings on the wall. A beautiful chandelier hanging with its glinting crystals.

Carlos stopped at the double doors with its gold handles and opened it for her, allowing her to slip in and she knew what awaited for her.

Hesitantly she looked up, staring at the 104 eyes staring back at her. Some with pity and some with hatred.

Her eyes instantly met her parents who turned their heads away.

Taking pity on her, one elder Johnson walked up to her. His blue eyes stark to his deep cocoa skin. Cat remembered he was the one who helped her.Elder Johnson led her to an empty seat in the front row. Cat had soon realized that the elders wouldn't even give her  a small ounce of respect and let her have a private council. They had to make it public.

Another Elder stood up and raised his hand, ceasing all the whispers.

"I pronounce the council meeting to-

He was interrupted with a loud bang of the door, suddenly a musky woodsy smell wafted in.

Cat froze in her chair knowing what was happening as people turned in their chair to look and whispers arose again.

Slowly Cat turned around to clash her eyes with someone else's stare.

His beautiful eyes captivating her.

Mate.
