She was minutes from getting in her dress and her heart was starting to beat faster and faster.

Cat would be walking alone to the alter and while she had first felt nervous about it, she couldn't care less.

All that mattered was the man that would stand at the end of the alter.

Her hair was styled into a half up do with strands of hair out, framing her face. She had opted for a natural look that used minimal makeup.

"You're radiant," a voice came from behind her. Cat looked into the mirror and clashed with the eyes of her best friend.

Damon.

All of a sudden, tears gathered in her eyes which she blinked to keep away. Laughing, she turned around to hug him. "I thought you weren't coming," she said.

"I know, I thought I wouldn't either but I didn't wanna miss it. Queen Catherine finally settling down," he whispered, trying to act as if he wasn't emotional as well.

"Do you want me to walk you down the aisle?" He asked. She shook her head, "No, I've decided to do it myself."

"I noticed Ryan and Alissa are here," he said, his eyebrows raised. "Yeah I wanted Angelo and Asher as my ring boys. Also these days Luca is showing some moral change so I wanted Alissa to come. Ryan was Alexei's choice, he asked me and I said I couldn't care less."

"Well all that matters is that you're happy in the end."

The knocks on the door interrupted their conversation.

The door opened up slowly to reveal Eliana. "Sorry to interrupt but we're losing time."

Cat quickly kissed Damon's cheeks before letting him go.

"Alright get me into this dress."

Cat used her hands to smooth  the illusion tulle over her dress as she waited for the ring boys and then the flower girl to reach the alter.

Cat had chosen no bridesmaids, she didn't have many girlfriends and her own sister had stopped talking to her for a while. Going with that, Alexei had opted for no groomsmen.

The dress that she wore was absolutely breathtaking. It had been hand made by the best artisans in the kingdom. Each piece of fabric had been carefully measured, sewn by hand to fit her exact measurement. Each bead, each pearl hand picked so it would shine against the white fabric and accentuate its beauty.

The dress was classy and traditional with a substantially long train, her veil was simple with lace covering its edges. Cat felt like she belong in the dress.

The beautiful tune of Can't Help Falling In Love on the violin started playing, when Cat had first sampled the song on violin she knew that she would be walking down the aisle.

Slowly the double doors opened up and Cat was able to take her steps down the aisle. For the first time in her life, Cat felt nervous due to all the stares on her.

But halfway down the aisle, she slowly looked up and met the eyes of the man she loved.
