2020.

She stared at the four numbers, blinking on her laptop screen.

To be honest, she was lost. She couldn't find what to write for the April issue.

All she wanted was some Chinese take out and to snuggle and watch a good Friends episode on Netflix, but here she was stuck trying to write an issue that was three months away.

All she had written down was the year, though it seemed irrelevant.

Suddenly her office doors burst open.

"You ready?" Anna asked, her lips pulled into a cheerful smile.

Cat got up and grabbed her dusty rose coat. "Thank the lord," she exclaimed, wanting to get out of doing work for a while.

Cat pulled down her white pencil skirt a little as the office pervert, Larry, stared at them once they  passed him.

"Oh god he's so creepy," Cat whispered to her beautiful friend and assistant, Anna.

Anna hummed in agreement, giggling.

They took the elevators to the basement parking lot, reserved for the employees.

Cat quickly got into her silver Porsche with Anna entering the passenger side. She took a quick glance to the backseat to make sure the blue car seat was still there.

Driving out of the basement, she quickly joined the New York traffic and drove towards the school.

******

Driving through the upper east side, she tried to find the huge sign.

ALLEN-STEVENSON SCHOOL.

The prep school wasn't hard to miss. After school it was a quite popular school for the kids of the rich.

All she knew was that Anna and Blake had decided to send their sweet little angel, Liam here.

She quickly stole the parking spot that had just cleared, today was a good day, and got out of the car to get Liam.

Cat always came along with Anna on Friday's to pick up Liam and then drop them off at their house.

"Go, I'll wait you for outside," Cat told Anna, a little freaked out at the amount of kids pouring out of the building to meet their parents.

But as she looked around, her attention shifted to the little girl sitting on the bench, staring at her pink sparkly shoes.

Feeling sorry for her, Cat walked towards her and sat next to her.

"Hey, you okay?" Cat asked her feeling a little awkward.

She wasn't the best with children.
