"And they say she danced and dance till she was tired and breathless."

By the time Cat had finished her work out, sorted her emails and written a new blog post, Alexei had appeared.
She was sipping at her peach green tea in between of writing out an email to Versace. Feeling excited and high on emotions, a big smile graced her face.
Suddenly the kitchen door slammed open and Alexei stormed through in work out clothes, sweaty and all. He instantly grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge before gulping it down.
Taking all those frustrations out on the weight machines, she thought.
She smirked, a better body for her to salivate over.
Alexei, not able to keep his curiosity in any longer, he walked closer to her and leaned on her chair trying to peek at her screen.
"What are you so happy about?" He asked.
"Not that it's your business but something absolutely amazing, a collaboration with Versace. Can you imagine what it'll do to my career," she exclaimed.
Her eyes twinkling as she gazed in front of her, lost in her thoughts and dreams.
Cat thought to all those days staring at those bloggers Instagram and wishing she had all of that, having nothing in her bank to achieve it and now she was climbing to the top.
"I though you were already big in the fashion world," Alexei replied remembering all the covers, clothing lines, runway modeling, featuring and stellar reviews from designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, he had read about in her file.
"There's no 'being big' it's a competitive world, if you don't keep yourself known then you become a thing of the past, the yesterday," she shot back, her fingers typing as fast as her talking speed to the reply she had gotten in seconds from the Versace team.
Alexei hummed as a response before he took a seat across from her, scrolling down at his phone. Cat stilled for a minute, realizing that this was their first ever actual conversation.
Cat smiled, took a sip, hauled herself up and leaned across the table to give Alexei's cheek a peck.
Alexei stopped all movements, surprised and shocked he looked up as Cat went back to typing as normal.
Slowly, he smiled at the tingling of his cheek.

There was a huge feast going on, celebrating the start of the new month.
All day people had been preparing the food and decor. There were huge trucks outside and people everywhere.
Soon enough it was time, the red carpet had been rolled out and people were arriving. There was a huge line of cars which kept multiplying.
Some V.I.P's drove past the line, making a smooth entrance.
But Cat was still in her satin robe that was sweeping the floor as she looked for a dress. This time she knew she wasn't with Alexei and she didn't want to.
