ALICE'S P.O.V.
"Alice, Alice wake up." After hearing that I jolt awake and realize that I'm in a bed.
"Piers?" I ask looking around the room, last night I fell asleep on the couch watching a movie. Anyways I get up and start getting ready for today I take a shower and brush my teeth when I get out, then I head back to the room and get dressed for the day and head down stairs. The smell of coffee hits me and I follow it to the kitchen where I see Piers pouring himself some.
"Oh good your awake, you want some coffee?"
"Yes please I haven't had coffee since the first day of the zombie apocalypse."
"Wow seriously?"
"Yes seriously."
"So are you ready to meet everyone today?"
"Um let me think... No."
"Oh come on it won't be that bad."
"I'm not worried about the people that I didn't know, I'm worried about the people that I do know."
"Don't worry about it you look amazing and they have been dying to see you so I highly doubt that they are going to act weird or anything like that."
"Thanks." I say with a laugh, after we finish off our coffee we head outside and I put my hood up.
"What about food?"
"Oh we are gonna go grab some when we go out around town."
"Okay well what are we getting?"
"Chocolate chip cookies."
"Oh my gosh really?!" I asked more excited than needed.
"Well I guess someone really wants some chocolate chip cookies." He said laughing.
"Don't judge me."
"Hey I'm not judging."
"Well good." Smiling at him we start to walking into a building which I think is the biggest one out of the ones in the safe zone, since I'm inside I put my hood down.
"This is kinda like the lunch room... right?" I ask trying to remember everywhere that we went last night.
"Yeah I was wondering if you paid attention last night."
"Oh come on you know I did." Shoving him playfully we continue to walk around until a lady comes in.
"Oh Piers your back!" She said running over to hug him, she is an older lady and seems really nice.
"Hey Nancy." Piers said hugging her back.
"Oh um who's your friend?" Nancy said looking at me and giving me a friendly smile.
"Oh Nancy I would like you to meet Alice, Alice I would like you to meet Nancy."
"Well hello dear." She says holding out her hand for me to take once I do she pulls me into a hug.
"Hi." I say shyly.
"Would you guys like some cookies I just made them."
