Time Is Up

ALAINA'S P.O.V.

"PIER'S!" I can't find anyone, we got attacked by some of Albert and William's men and there is zombies everywhere I look because all of the sound attracted them.

"DAWSON, BLAKE, ANYONE PLEASE ANSWER ME!" They can't be gone, they can't die, they mean to much to me and the rest of our good that is back at the safe house. The zombies are getting to close and there are way to many for me to even think about taking on alone.

"Guys please be alive." Trying to avoid as many zombies as I can I run as fast as possible to the hotel next to me and hope that the others are still alive and find their way out of there too. I take no time to get to the stairs and start making my way up as high as I can.

Once I make it to the top floor I start looking in all of the rooms. When I get near the middle of them I hear a thud towards the end of the hallway so I slowly make my way over there flashlight in one hand and my knife in the other. Then I open the door and knock on it three times so that if there is a zombie it'll come to me now instead of when I'm off guard.

"Hello?" Oh yeah Alaina they are just gonna be like 'Hey I'm in the kitchen do you want a sandwich?' I can't believe I just did that like stupid people do in a scary movie, what in the world is wrong with me? Just then I was pulled out of my thoughts by something falling around the corner.

"Okay you got this Alaina." Quickly I go though the door and point my gun in the direction of the noise and then a zombie comes running at me. When it reaches me I kick it in the stomach making it fall to the ground and I run over and stab it in the head before it gets the chance to get back up. Once I get myself to get up I walk over and shut the door then make my way around this place making sure that nothing else is in here.

"Well I guess here is good enough for the night. I might have to make my way back to the safe house tomorrow alone... This is going to be interesting. Now let's see if we can find some food around here." I make my way to the kitchen and start looking around and there is a bunch of trash everywhere.

"Seriously dude I mean I know that its a zombie apocalypse but did you seriously have to trash the place?" Then I finally come across a thing of peanut butter and a smile comes across my face.

*Flashback*

"So what do you want to eat?"

"Um I don't know like I'm hungry but I'm not to hungry. Do you know what I mean?"

"Yeah. Well we have some... oh we have peanut butter."

"Peanut butter?" I ask looking at Lynn like she's crazy.

"Yeah I love it." Then I just shook my head and looked at her and laughed.

"Okay, okay fine."

"We can have something else we don't have to have this if you don't want it. It's just something that I always get a spoon of if I'm hungry but can't find anything."

"No, it's fine really." I say with a little laugh.

"Okay." Lynn says all excited as she runs over to get two spoons with the peanut butter still in her hands.

"Okay lets go then." Then we run back to her room and start watching our movie.

*End of Flashback*

When me and Lynn... well Alice now, were younger we would just grab some peanut butter and two spoons when we were hungry but couldn't figure out what we wanted to eat. I miss it when we could just run around free and not be scared that some monster was going to kill us if we didn't have something to fight back with. The crappy part it I can't have a normal life anymore... no one can, we can't have kids without worrying that they are going to get killed or eaten alive just by stepping outside for a bit or loosing them do the viruses. We can't get married and have a wedding my dad wouldn't be there to hand me off to them, my mom wouldn't be there to see her little girl finding true love. None of my family would be there and I don't even know if the person that I'm supposed to love forever is still alive. I shake my head to clear my thoughts and right when I look up I see a cellphone sitting on the coffee table.
