She's Gone

It's been three months since I lost her. I lost my best friend because that butthole shot her. Ever since then that has been the only thing I see when I close my eyes, I dream about it every night... well every night that I actually get sleep that is. Everyone says I need to get out of the house and try not to think about it as much but I can't help but feel like its my fault. Instead of doing anything I just stood there, I watched her die right in front of me.

"Hey." Jake said walking in my room, I've been staying with Alice and Jake because I'm keeping an eye on her to make sure that she doesn't stress herself out or do something that could possibly harm the baby. I've also been watching Flynn and Sarah for them they are growing up so fast, they are four years old now.

"Hey." I say giving him a slight smile.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to help me plan Alice's birthday party?" He asked returning the smile.

"Yeah sure that sounds like it would be fun."

"Really?!" Jake asks excited and surprised.

"Yeah, really." I say with a little laugh because of the way that he reacted to my response.

"Well, okay great so you can come down whenever you are ready I sent Alice to go get some breakfast before I came up here so we have a little bit."

"Good she was starting to feel useless because you wouldn't let her do anything."

"Hey I'm new at this. I've never helped someone who was pregnant so really I don't know what they need to stop doing or what is okay for them to do." We both laugh a bit.

"Okay well you do whatever you need to do if anything I mean its just me and I'm like your older brother, anyways when your ready come down stairs."

"Okay." I give him one last smile and then he closes the door and I flop back on my bed to think for a moment before I go down there.

"Okay now let's do this." Finally I jump up off of my bed and head down stairs.

"Sissy!" Sarah yells as I make it down stairs.

"Hey sweetheart!" I love her and Flynn to death and love watching over them.

"Hi!" Flynn calls out as they both run over to me, I pick them both up Flynn on the left and Sarah on the right.

"So is mommy's birthday coming up?"

"Yeah!" They both scream.

"Are we going to plan the best party ever?" I ask acting all excited.

"Um is that even a question?" Sarah asks.

"Like seriously we are the best party planners ever!" Flynn says causing me to laugh.

"Your pretty good with those two."

"Yeah I guess I am." I say sitting Flynn and Sarah down so me and Jake can talk for a moment.

"So are you ready to get planning?"

"Yeah let's do this."

****TIME SKIP****

After we got done planning the birthday party with the help of Flynn and Sarah of course Jake, Alice, Flynn and Sarah all decided to talk a walk around the safe zone.

"Are you sure you don't want to go with us?"

"No its fine I'm just going to stay here and think for a while."

"Okay well we will be back in a little while."

"Okay, bye. Have fun you guys."

"We will. Bye." Then they left and I headed back up stairs to my room. Once I close my bedroom door I flop down on my bed and close my eyes trying to make up for the sleep that I didn't really get last night.
