ALICE'S P.O.V. "They have been gone for to long. We have to go after them." I say to Mia as I am pacing back and forth.
"Alice you need to calm down."
"I can't calm down Mia. Our friends are out there and haven't even contacted us since the day they left and they are looking for someone who could already be dead. They said they were going to be back before I freaking gave birth and they never did. Mia I've lost all of the freaking baby weight." Then Mia stood in front of me and grabbed my shoulders and stared into my eyes.
"Calm down, I'm sure they are fine, at least Piers came back in time to step in Jake's spot for the birth. He said that they wanted to look a little bit longer and Jake was the one leading it so he couldn't just leave them." I close my eyes and take a deep breath to calm down and Mia lets go of my shoulders and waits.
"You good now?"
"I'm fine just worried."
"I'll go get some people together and send them out there to go see if they can find them."
"Okay thanks Mia." She smiled a small smile and then walked out the door. Then I got a text so I ran over to my phone to look at who it was from, it said unknown. I got a confused look on my face as I unlocked my phone and read the text.
"Sorry Alice, unfortunately our deal is and has been over for a while now." It took me a minute to think of who the heck this was and if they were just pulling a stupid prank on me or not. I was so lost in my thoughts but was soon pulled out of them by a loud crashing noise followed by a bunch of screaming.
"What the heck." I ran outside to see two monsters, one was mark and the other I've never seen before but its like the same connection I had with whatever was behind that door that day when me and Piers went back to their lab.
"Alice!" Piers yells running over to me.
"We have to get you and Lilly out of here now!"
"Okay she's upstairs." We both run back inside, he heads upstairs and I grab my bag and start grabbing a bunch of snacks, drinks, baby food and everything else that I need for Lilly. Then Piers comes back down the steps with her in his hands and we run outside to see Albert, William, they two monsters and some of their men that have a few people from the safe house and then Mia, Flynn, and Sarah.
"Oh great." Piers mumbled so that only I could hear it.
"Where are the others?" I ask Albert not taking my eyes off of Mia.
"They already made it out... lucky them." There was a moment of silence before Albert broke it.
"Do you like our new addition to the family?"
"Who did you turn into a monster now?" A smirk appeared on his face as he walked around the monster.
"I think you should be able to guess this one by yourself." I look right into the monster's eye and my heart sinks.
"Max." Piers gave me a confused look.
