What Now

ALICE'S P.O.V.
We finally make it to Albert's little lab and I haven't been here for over three years almost four now. It's starting to be winter again no snow yet though.

"Alright you ready to go?"

"Um not really but I do want to just get this thing over with already."

"Yeah, that's the spirit." Piers says with a laugh. We get out of the truck and then start walking in.

"Ah there you are I was beginning to worry for a moment there."

"Well a deals a deal you spared my life and Alice came without hesitation."

"Oh good. Glad to have you back Alice." She gave a slight smile to him and then started looking around and stopped right in front of a door.

"What's back here?" She asked about to open it but then a monstrous scream came from behind it as something continuously hit the door causing me to jump and Alice to fall back on the ground.

"What the heck is that thing?!" Piers asked

"That's my little friend."

"Then what is that?" When Piers says that I turn to see what used to be Mark and my heart sunk knowing that it wasn't him behind that door.

"That is my other friend."

"That used to be my dad. Well pretend dad." I finally said making Piers look at me.

"Alice I'm-" He tries to continue but I cut him off already knowing what he was going to say.

"It's okay." He nodded and then we both looked at Albert.

"Okay so when are we gonna get these tests started?"

"Right how if you want to and if your ready of course."

"Okay sounds good to me. I'm just ready be done with all of this."

"Let's go then." Once we got down to the room where they wanted to do tests on me and all of the sudden it started flashing white well to me at least no one else seemed to see anything. Then I started hearing voices. I was getting short little flashbacks of when I was last here.

On the tray next to the lab table I will see nothing on it then the viruses will flash in my mind and I see them all there and me laying on the tray. Then I looked to the side to see the chains where they had Max, Maria, and Abby when I woke up, but when the flashes happen I see them there struggling against the chains.

"Get up! Come on Lynn! Alice! Whoever you are wake up!" The voices that were once muffled and unheard are now coming back to me and becoming clear.

"Lynn we need you to get up! Please!" Then I hear a gun shot going off and see Abby with a bullet hole in her head.

"Oh my gosh Abby!"

"You jerk! How could you do that?!"  Looking back at the lab table and the tray I see all the viruses getting injected into me one by one. All of the sudden Piers steps in front of me and grabs my shoulders and looks straight into my eyes making everything else go away.

"Alice? Are you okay?"

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine just I don't have the best memories of this place." When I said that he wiped a tear that was falling down my face while I was getting those flashbacks of that terrible day. That was the worst birthday in my entire life.

"Ready to begin or did you change your mind?" Albert asked getting impatient.

"Yeah sorry." I said walking over to the lab table.
