Norway x Reader: Rainy Days

It was a cold, wet, rainy day. Lukas sat by the windowsill with a book in his hands. His fluffy, white Norwegian Forest cat laid right by his feet. 

(Y/n), his beloved, was preparing a nice little pot of tea in the kitchen. The atmosphere was peaceful, until a bolt of lightning flashed with a jolt of thunder. 

"EEEEK!!" She squealed, jumping in surprise. Lukas looked up from his book whilst the cat ran towards her. 

"Are you okay?" Lukas' voice echoed from the living room, concerned for his girlfriend. She nodded her head and began to pour hot water from the kettle into the pot. The cat sat by her, nuzzling its head into her legs. 

BOOM!

(Y/n) gave out a little yelp, shutting her eyes tight. Lukas bookmarked the page and set his book down. He walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her figure. 

"Min kjæreste." He whispered into her (h/c) locks. She felt comfortable, safe in her lover's embrace. Another flash of lightning struck, accompanying the roaring sound of thunder. Ignoring the sound, (y/n) closed her eyes in comfort as Lukas kissed her forehead. 

The cat walked away from his owners and returned to the spot beside the windowsill, closing his dark blue eyes and falling asleep to the sound of raindrops.
