"(Y/n), please!" Lukas pleaded with the child. She had on her snowflake pajamas and brushed her teeth clean.
"Nei!" A giggle left her lips as she ran up the stairs, away from her father. Lukas dashed up the steps as well, in pursuit of the child.
She quickly entered her papa's room, locking the door behind her. Her legs kneeled down to the floor, back pressed to the wood of the door. (Y/n) gripped her stuffed pink bunny and placed a small finger to the toy's embroidered mouth.
"Shhh!" She hushed rather loudly to her stuffie.
"I hear you." Lukas whispered, causing his daughter to jump slightly.
"Oh no! Pappa found us! You were too loud bunny!" (Y/n) whisper-scolded the pink rabbit, who said nothing in response.
The Norwegian chuckled at his daughter. She was just like him, with her wild imagination. Lukas pulled out a key and quietly unlocked the door.

She stood up and walked three steps away from the door. Her arms were wrapped tightly around the pink rabbit as the door opened.
"Pappa?" She tilted her head to one side, (e/c) pools displayed in a curious expression. Lukas walked in and closed the door behind him. He walked into the bathroom and closed that door as well. (Y/n) grew perplexed, curious to know what her father was doing.
Minutes later, her father walked out in his undershirt and pair of sweatpants on. He climbed onto his bed and sat under the covers.
"Would you like to sleep with me, lille venn?" The child nodded, crawling under the covers. She scooted over towards her father and laid down, the toy still in her arms. Lukas laid down as well, wrapping his arm around her.
Feeling warm and safe from her father's embrace, (y/n)'s eyes started to feel a little droopy. Soon, her eyes were closed and she was sent to dreamland. Lukas kissed her forehead and swept some of her (h/c) locks away from her face.
"Sove godt, mitt barn." He muttered, before being sent off to dreamland.

I'm sorry that it's a shitty title.
Apparently, Norwegian parents call their children "friend" or "little friend". Am I wrong? If so, I'll just change it. If not, can I please get an explanation? I find it a bit weird, to be honest. But then, Norwegian isn't very romantic or endearing.
Norway does not belong to me.
Enjoy!
