Chapter 9

Naruto rolled his eye at the white headed man that was making a fool of himself. "Ah man, Sasuke is going to kill me. I let my horse get away. His going to let me walk all the way to Suna, isn't he? I'm too handsome to be walking all that way to Suna.

My feet are just too delicate." Naruto listened to the white headed man's runt. "I know! I just tell him the situation. I'm sure Sasuke will understand that a handsome person like me shouldn't be walking on the hot, dry sand."

Once again Naruto rolled his eyes, but this time he huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. He turned his head to the side to check if Sasuke was coming back already. "I know!" Suigetsu pointed his pointing finger in the air as if he had a brilliant idea that just came to mind.

"I'll just talk his horse and go now. Why didn't I think of that before? Suigetsu, you are just one handsome genius." Naruto pursed his lip and eyed Suigetsu, as the man kissed his own hand and pat himself on the back. "You can't do that." Said Naruto with a scowl on his face.

Suigetsu blinked a couple of times and turned to Naruto. "And what's going to stop me. Sasuke isn't here and it should be every man for himself." Naruto looked down for a quick moment and thought about what Suigetsu said. He lifted his eyes with a victorious expression on his face.

"I could stop you." Suigetsu snorted at that and grabbed the horse's reins. "Cute, but a little guy like you would be able to stop me. Even if you had yourself an army. I'm just that great." He pinched Naruto's cheeks and turned away.

Naruto scowled at that, a blueish like colour appeared on his hand and he tossed it to the horse's feet and it faded instantly as it hit the ground. Suigetsu grabbed the horse's reins and pulled. He frowned when the horse didn't budge.

He pulled again and still the horse would not budge. "Come on you stupid horse. We need to go, right now." Suigetsu growled he went behind the horse and tried to push it. "Fucking come on." Naruto tried his best not to laugh, but he failed miserably. Suigetsu move to the front to talk to the horse.

"Look if this is about, 'I'm not you fucking master' well I've got news you stupid horse. I am your new master and Sasuke? I'm so sorry for your loss, but your fucked up loyalty to him is not need now. Why? His dead, gone all the way to the Gods and enjoying a five star meal without you. So let's go." And so Suigetsu tried once again to pull the horse with him, but she still would not move.

Naruto sighed and rubbed his forehead. "You're beginning to give me a head ache, you know." Suigetsu growled and whipped his head to Naruto. "Shut the fuck up. Now why don't go to the land of sound and continue to be Orochimaru's bitch. I bet he needs you now to warm his bed."

He turned back to the horse unaware of the deadly aura that came from Naruto. Naruto harshly pursed his lips. With a glare and growl he once again threw the blue light at Suigetsu's body. Freezing Suigetsu in place. Suigetsu tried to move his body, but he found it hard to do so. "What's happening? Why can't I move?"

Naruto moved to stand in front of him, with a scowl on his face. "I have watched that man destroy my village, watched him kill my mother, and watched him kill a couple of my friends if I didn't cooperate. Watched him kill innocent people. Sure I have told him his fortunes, but I would never be that man's bitch. Shikamaru and Neji created a lie to keep him from touching me. Who wouldn't risk me losing my powers, right? But it hurt so much to know his rapping my friends and I can't do nothing to help them. Some of them end up killing themselves, just because they are never the same. And I can't imagine their horror of being humiliated like that. It breaks my heart to know that I could help them."

Suigetsu took in the information that was given to him as Naruto silently cried. He really felt bad for the people he was talking about. "I'm sorry," Suigetsu closed his eyes as he remembered his own past. "My family and I were happy back then, before the war. My older brother and I would always fool around, steal chicken from my mother's pot. Father would always tell us stories when he came back from war. Life was just great."

Suigetsu chuckled his tears away. "Until that day when Orochimaru's soldiers invaded over village and my family was the unfortunate victims. My father tried his best to fight them off and protect us, he told us to run and never look back. So we ran, but I was always stubborn. So I turned my head and saw them stab him from the back and chop off his head."

He took in a deep breath before continuing. "My mother also tried to protect my brother and me, but they were catching up, so my mother told my brother to take me and run. We did, but we hid close by to try and help her. We watched them beat her, take turns to rape her, before they killed her."

Naruto undid his spell on him and Suigetsu fell to the ground on his knees. "They heard me scream. And when I tried to help my mother, my brother held me back. He took me and ran. They were chased after us, when they were not so far, my brother kissed my head and hugged me. Told me that he loved me and to live for all of us." Suigetsu hiccuped and Naruto came closer placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Suigetsu laughed bitterly. "He pushed me to run, and I did. I could have saved them but I ran like a dog with its tail between its legs." Naruto embraced him when he began to cry. Naruto whispered comforting words while rubbing his back with gentle circles. Sasuke had long returned and heard everything.

He gave Naruto a moment to comfort Suigetsu, but it didn't stop the jealousy that bubbled within. Once Suigetsu had calmed down, Sasuke cleared his throat. "We won't make it in time to the cave when the sand storm comes. So we'll have to cover up until it passes." Sasuke cringed and held his arm. "Are you ok?" Asked Naruto as he eyed his cuts and bruises. "I'm fine. There is nothing to worry about." Naruto nodded and they covered themselves when the storm came.
