Sasunaru - The scorpion king

Chapter 10

The sand storm had passed and Sasuke, Suigetsu and Naruto emerged from under the cover. "We should get going. We still have three days to get there." Said Sasuke panted with his resting on his midsection and sweat covered his body. "Are you ok there buddy?" Asked Suigetsu. "Hn." Was all Sasuke had said.

"But you don't look so good." Said Naruto, worry evident in his voice. "I said I'm fine." Sasuke growled at the two. "Well obviously you're not." Naruto shot back. Sasuke glare, but hissed and fell on his knees. Naruto rushed to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder only to pull it away. "What's wrong with him?" Asked Suigetsu.

"He has been poisoned with the scorpion's venom. I need to act quickly." He looked up to Suigetsu. "Spread the cover and help me get him on that." Suigetsu hurried to do just that and they placed Sasuke on the cover. "I need fire. Can you prepare that for me?" Suigetsu tried his best to do just that at quick speed.

Once the fire was made, Naruto dipped his hand in the fire and pulled them back with a green glow on them. He placed his hands on Sasuke's chest. A long the line Sasuke's body glowed green for a few moments. When the glow was gone, Naruto leaned in and pressed his lips again Sasuke's.

He pulled back slightly and a thin purple glow could be seen leaving Sasuke's mouth into Naruto's mouth. Suigetsu watched the whole seen with fascination. Once Naruto had sucked up the purple glow, he collapsed beside Sasuke. Suigetsu looked between the two, both covered in sweat and unconscious. "Man, I wish I was the one poisoned." He shook his head and prepared something for all of them to eat.

Naruto stood in what looked like to be a peaceful village. With adults going about their business or laughing with each other. Children giggling and playing games, but what caught Naruto's attention were the two little boys that stood side by side as their family gave hugs and kisses on the cheek as a farewell.

One had bright blond hair and sky blue eyes and the other with raven hair and midnight eyes. Naruto gasped. "That's me." He walked closer to hear what the two boys were saying to each other. "You will come back right?" Said the blond little boy. "Hn. And we'll play lots and lots of games."

An older looking raven headed boy that looked exactly like the little raven headed boy, apart from the long that was tied into a ponytail. Got down on his knees and hugged the blond headed boy. "Be good to your parents and take care of your brother Kurama for me. Ok Naruto?"

 

Little Naruto grinned and nod his head. "I will, I promise Itachi." The little raven headed boy wiggled himself between the two, he possessively held on to little Naruto and glared at his older brother. "Get your hand of my Naruto, Itachi." He growled at his brother.

"Really Sasuke, what are you going to do about it?" Itachi mocked his little brother. "This!" Sasuke launched himself at his older brother and little Naruto grabbed little Sasuke off of Itachi. "No Sasuke. Don't hit Itachi." Naruto placed his little arms around Sasuke's neck and kissed the older boys cheek.

Causing Sasuke to instantly relax. The two mothers, one with rosy red hair with light blue greenish eyes and the other with raven hair and midnight eyes just like her two sons giggled and looked at their children in awe. The two fathers, one blond headed with blue eyes just like his little blond son and the other with black hair and midnight eyes just like his family chuckled and shook their head.

A boy with long red hair and light blue greenish eyes just like his mother just snorted and rolled his eyes. "Well it was fun to be with you all, Mikoto. Thank you for visiting." Said the red headed woman with a bright smile on her face. "Thank you for having us Kushina." Mikoto smiled and hugged her best friend. "Please, write a letter when you get home safe, Fugaku." Said the blond headed man. "I will, Minato." Fugaku shook his best friend's hand. The Uchiha family hopped on their carriage and were off.

Things turned dark for a moment and screams were heard. Naruto turned to see the Uchiha village on fire. Men fighting to protect their families, women fighting to protect their children. "Mikoto! Take our children and hide." Fugaku demanded his wife.

Mikoto said nothing and grabbed her two kid's hands and ran. She hid her children from the soldiers, she kissed their heads. "Itachi, I'm going to need you to take care of your little brother. Can you do that for me?" Itachi nod his head, Mikoto smile at her eldest son and she turn to the youngest with the same gentle smile.

"Sasuke, I'm going to need you to listen to your big brother. Can you do that for mommy?" Sasuke shook his head and wrapped his little arms around his mother's neck. "Don't go mommy." He shut his eyes tight and tighten his hold on his mother's neck. "Don't worry, I will come back.

You just stay with you brother, while I keep you safe ok." Mikoto's voice cracked and she removed her youngest son arms from around her neck. "Hold on to him Itachi." Mikoto got up and close the little door to the room she hid her children in. She wiped the tear on her face, she ran down the small hill and landed on the road.

She tried to run as fast as she could away from the soldiers leading them away from her children's hiding spot. She gasped when an arrow pierced through her and she collapsed to the ground. Sasuke seeing this through the little hole backed away from the wall only to fall and hit his head hard on the floor, leaving him unconscious.

"She never came back." Naruto turned to see Sasuke standing behind him. "Sasuke..." Naruto said quietly not sure of what to say about what he just witnessed. "I knew she was lying but I let her go. I could have saved her." He chuckled bitterly.

"There was nothing you could have done." Sasuke shook his head. "I could have saved her. My whole families gone. I'm what's left of them. I was too weak to save her." Naruto walked up to Sasuke, he looked up at him and cupped his cheeks. "You were so young." Sasuke shut his eyes tight.

"She loved and she wouldn't be happy to see you beat yourself like this." Naruto pressed their heads together. "I have nothing." Naruto shook his head. "You have me. We have each other now right?" Naruto smiled sadly. "We still have each other." Naruto whispered. Sasuke leaned in and softly kissed Naruto on the lips, wrapping his arms around Naruto's slim waist.

Naruto kissed back with equal passion, when the need for air was too much they pulled apart and held on to each other. "We have each other." Whispered Sasuke as he buried his nose in Naruto's golden hair.
