Chapter 11

Sasuke woke up and looked around to find Naruto still unconscious. "So you finally woke up?" He heard a voice say and he turned to find Suigetsu poking the fire with the stick. "How long was I out?" Suigetsu appeared thoughtful for a while.

"I'd say long enough. But man ain't you a lucky son of a bitch, you get to have an indirect kiss from hot stuff over there." Suigetsu pointed at Naruto with his thumb. "You know what I'd do just to get a taste of those juicy lips. I'd die a happy man." Sasuke growled and glared at Suigetsu.

Suigetsu put his hands up in defence. "Hay I'm just say, can't a man dream. And what a lovely dream it is." Suigetsu stared of into space with a dreamy look on his feature. Sasuke's glare intensified, he grabbed a small rock that was close (An: if there are any in the desert. When I watch a move with that place I only see sand.) and threw it at Suigetsu's head.

Suigetsu fell on the sand with a soft thump and he clutched his head screaming in pain. "Ow hay watch it. I'm delicate and the world would be sad without him." He whined. "Hn. Then you don't talk shit about Naruto and you won't have to worry about me doing it again." He threatened and turned his gaze to Naruto's unconscious form.

"Is that the thanks I get? You should be kissing my feet, because while you were out I kicked hundreds, no, thousands of Orochimaru's soldiers you would have been dead if it weren't for me..." Suigetsu continued to runt while fixing himself a spot to sleep. Sasuke just rolled his eyes and continued to stare softly at Naruto's peaceful form.

'We have each other.' Naruto's voice echoed in his head as he thought about the past he had long forgotten, a past that was now glowing dim as an amber. 'No wonder why my mind was yearning to remember a past I had long forgotten. It's because deep down I knew there was something, someone to hold on to.' Sasuke looked at Naruto's peaceful feature and he smile a small smile. "We have each other." He whispered to himself before going back to sleep.

Rain poured from the heavens above to the earth below. Sasuke turned to see a shivering Naruto and Suigetsu. "There's a village close by. We could try to find a place to stay for the time being." Naruto and Suigetsu nodded their heads in agreement.

A little while before they could make it to the village, a group of bandits appeared out of nowhere and surrounded them. A man with brown hair and brown eyes stepped forward with a smirk on his face. "Well look what we have here boys." His smirk widen when Sasuke drew his sword.

"Looks like we're eating right tonight boys. Take all their valuables," He eyed Naruto from head to toe and licked his lips. "...and take the pretty blond. Kill his friends." The bandits snickered and stepped forward slow. Suigetsu pulled out a dagger to prepare himself for attacks.

Sasuke silently looked around him counting the number of bandits surrounding the. '30 huh? This should be done in no time.' He thought. One of them pounced at him, Sasuke jumped back to dodge him and he pierced his sword through the man's stomach.

Two ran at him, one behind and the other in front. He kicked the one behind him and he cut the other man's he head in front in half. He quickly turned and stabbed the man he kick, forcing his sward through his chest. Suigetsu did his best to dodge and cut each man's throat.

He threw his dagger at a man that was charging at him from far, causing it to pierce the man through the forehead. He quickly ran and grabbed his dagger and dodged a man that charged at him. Naruto had red like glowing ropes in each hand. He whipped the ropes at each man that attacked him, cutting them in half with the ropes.

The fight went on, some of the bandits had cowered and ran away. And before they knew it the fight was over. "I-I think...th-that's...all of them." Naruto panted out, he clutched his knees as he tried to get in as much needed oxygen.

"Not quiet!" The brown headed man got behind Naruto and wrapped his arm around him, trapping both of Naruto's arms in his strong hold. The man placed a dagger on Naruto's throat when he saw Sasuke try to get closer.

"Dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, I wouldn't do that if I were you. That is if you don't want your beautiful blond here to make to out of this alive." With that he dragged his tongue along the side of Naruto's neck. Naruto tensed and felt disgusted with the man licking his neck.
