Sasunaru - The scorpion king

Chapter 12

Sasuke glared and growled. "Hmm, I could tell you'd make a tasty treat. Which one of them is fucking you? So I could show my respect and ask for permission." He grinned evilly. Out of nowhere an arrow appeared through the man's forehead to the back of the head.

His body fell to the ground splash. (An: they still in the rain, remember?) Frozen in shock, Naruto fell on his hands and knees, still try to wrap his head on what happened. Sasuke and Suigetsu rushed to Naruto's side. Sasuke placed a hand on Naruto's should and looked up at the direction the arrow came from.

He narrowed his eyes dangerously as he saw a figure walking towards them. A woman appeared with a bow in her hand and stopped in a distance not so far from them. The woman had fair skin, green eyes and pink long, most of it plastered on her face from the rain.

She wore a red and green qipao dress and a one slit that start about mid-thigh. She had on black shoes to complete her outfit. Her green eyes widen. "Well, I'll be? No wonder it's a rainy day today." She began with a smile. "If it isn't Sasuke Uchiha."

She said with amusement evident in her voice. "Sakura, it's been a while." Said Sasuke with an emotionless voice. Sakura giggled. "Is that anyway to greet an old friend." She walked over to the group and helped up Naruto. She checked him over.

"Just a little cut on you neck. Nothing I can't fix." She then slapped her forehead as if remembering something. "Where are my manners? I'm Sakura Horuno." Naruto blinked at her for a moment. "Naruto Uzumaki."

Sakura nodded her head with a gentle smile and turned her gaze to Suigetsu. "Uh...I'm Suigetsu Hozuki." He said a little dumbstruck. "Nice to meet you both and Sasuke! Nice to see you again." Naruto smiled. "Nice to meet you too." He said. "Now let's get you guys out of the rain."

Sakura frowned, her eyes down cast as she told Sasuke Naruto and Suigetsu how she found them. "I saw your horse running through the village like its tail was on fire. I had managed to stop it and took it back to my house the grabbed my bow and arrows and ran as fast as could to where you guys were."

She turned her gaze to them and smiled warmly. "And I guess I made it just on time too." They stopped in front of a small cosy little house. "Well home sweet home." She said in a sweet voice and opened the door. "Ino look what I found in the rain."

Sakura called out to this Ino person. A woman with fair skin, blue eyes and long platinum blond hair worn in a ponytail reaching her upper-back, with bangs framing the right side of her face. She wore a purple qipao that reached up to her ankles and also had a slit that started mid-thigh.

 

She gasped and squealed, running over to Sasuke and pulling him into a tight hug. "Sasuke it's so nice to see you again." She let go of him and turned her gaze to Naruto. "This must be you lovely little wife. You really know how to pick them don't you Sasuke."

She nagged Sasuke softly on the rib and Naruto blushed deeply at what was said. "Oh no, no, we're not married at all." Naruto chuckled nervously and waved his hands. "Why are you so shy? You'll two make quiet the couple." The red on Naruto's face darken, he turned to Sasuke to see a smirk on his face.

But if you look close enough you could see a touch of pink on his face. "Ino don't embarrass them. Sorry for my wife. Now let's get you three all dried up now. I'm sure Ino has appropriate clothes for you."

Once they were all dry, they sat in the living room drink hot cups of tea. "Sasuke, where's Itachi? Is he busy with something?" At this question Sasuke's eye darken and he looked away, Naruto placed a comforting hand and his. His eyes filled with concern. Suigetsu understood what happened and bowed his head.

Ino and Sakura got the point and looked to Sasuke with a heavy heart. "Sasuke I-I'm so sorr-" Ino was cut off at what she was going to say. "Don't." Was all Sasuke could say. Ino turned her gaze to Sakura, who looked at her in return.

Sakura bit her lip and cleared her throat, trying to break the depressing atmosphere, she changed the subject. "So? Where are you guys heading to?" Naruto smiled at her in appreciation for trying to change the subject. "We're going to Suna."

Replied Suigetsu. "Oh, what for? If you don't mind me asking?" She curiously turned her gaze to gaze to Suigetsu, thinking he'd answer the question. "Preparations for the war. Naruto here was Orochimaru's sorcerer. Without him Orochimaru is vulnerable." Answered Sasuke.

Sakura nodded her head in understanding. She looked at Ino and they had what appeared to be a silent conversation. As if coming to a decision the turned their gaze to Sasuke. "We coming with you." Said Sakura. "That won't be necessary."

Ino shook her head. "It is if we could do something to save our people. The sooner we get rid of Orochimaru the better for our well-being." She held her heated gaze with Sasuke. Sasuke sighed. "Fine, we leave first thing in the morning." Ino and Sakura nodded their heads. "Well I guess we should all get some rest then." With that, they all wished each other good night and went to bed.
