"Charles... Charles... you can't escape Charles..." a voice kept echoing in my head. "He will hunt you down until you pay for what you've done..." what did I do? I can't remember a thing... did I hurt someone? Did I... kill someone?

I heard a beeping sound in the darkened void, followed by the sound of people talking. My heard my name. I wanted to shout "hey! I can hear you! Help me!" But I knew they couldn't hear me. Whoever they were. I sighed and relaxed. Hoping never to leave this void. I'm safe here...

The white, sparkling dust floated around me again. Soon, the colored beams followed. I smiled as I watched the light show. I reached out and swirled my hand in the dust. It was cool to the touch and it coated my hand. I wiped it off and continued watching the lights. But out of the blue, the lights started flickering and the dust fell straight down light weights. "Here we go again..." I muttered.

I fell straight down into a random town. It looked sort of familiar but there seemed to be a dome that kept me confined within a few blocks. I didn't know where to go. So, I just started walking, passing faintly familiar houses. I kept walking towards the edge of the dome. It was a glowing, misty white. I couldn't see anything past it. I touched it but it knocked me back twenty feet or so. I hit my head on the ground and slid on my back against the road. I hear my shirt tearing and my skin being ripped from my body. My back burned. I let out a cry in pain. I whimpered as I stood up and put a hand to my back. I could only feel flesh. I pulled my hand back and looked at it. It's covered in blood. My back must look like that poor little girls face. My head began to throb again. Why am I getting hurt in dreams!? It didn't make sense!

Everything started to go dark. Like night had arrived in moments. "Great..." I thought to myself. A beam shot down onto a single story, Spanish style house. It didn't look familiar at all. I walked towards it and I heard a low humming noise as I got closer. I went up to the front door and opened it slowly. I peaked around the corner into a living room. Off to the left was a kitchen with a bar that separated the two rooms. I heard faint cries coming from a hallway straight ahead. I entered the house and tip toed towards the crying.

There was a long hallway with three doors to my left, two to my right and one at the very end of the hall. As I reached the first door to the right, I could see through the cracked door it was a little girls room. Pink walls. Teddy bears and baby dolls.
The next door to the left was a bathroom. The second room to the right was... empty... curiosity got the best of me. I entered the room. It was half painted blue and the rest of the walls white. It had a single window with drapes covering it. The only thing in it was a flipped over baby crib and dolls that lie inside of it. I shivered at the sight of the dolls "Please no more dolls..." As I exited the room, I felt the need to check behind me. I quickly looked over my shoulder back into the room. I saw glowing white eyes just behind the crib. My breath hitched and I slammed the door shut. I leaned against the door and caught my breath.

I heard foot steps slowly creeping towards me. Something started scratching and banging on the door. I closed my eyes and waited for it to go away. Everything fell silent. Even the cries down the hall. The door knob started to jiggle and twist. "I'll see you soon Jason" a familiar deep voice said from behind the door. "The doll..." I thought to myself "got that right..." the doll laughed. "You... you can hear me...?" I thought "I can hear everything... you can't hide from me..." it said. I quickly walked away from the door towards the room with the crying woman.

I made it to the third and final door to the right. I put my ear to the door to see what else I could hear. I heard the sobs and sniffling of a woman and comforting words of a man. My hand went for the knob but my hand went through the door. I pulled my hand back and stood there, motionless. I pondered for a moment and took a step though the door. I was now in the master bedroom. A woman with black hair sat at the edge of the bed, her head in her hands. A man that I'm guessing to be her husband had his arms wrapped around her, rubbing her back and whispering in her ear. "Um... hello...?" I asked softly. Neither of them noticed. I took a few steps towards them, close enough to touch the mans shoulder. I reached out to touch him but my hand went through him. The man gasped and shivered, looking around the room then back at his wife.

I looked down at my hands. "Am... am I a ghost...?" I said under my breath. I took a step back, not knowing what I should do. The woman looked up at her husband with her hazel eyes bloodshot. "First Jessie... now a miscarriage... honey I can't take this..." she said, tears rolling down her cheeks. "A miscarriage?" I thought "That must explain the tipped over baby crib. And Jessie? Their daughter?"

I exited the master and walked back to the girls room. I phased through that door as well. The whole room was painted pink. Barbie dolls littered the floor. Princess castle in the corner. Bed in the middle of the room against the wall, a picture frame on the bedside table. I walked towards it and picked up the picture. It had a little girl with black hair and blue eyes. The couple in the other room held her in their arms. The woman looked to be pregnant with a small bump on her stomach. But the little girl... she looked so familiar...

I looked closer at the picture. Inspecting the little girl. The picture began to change. The parents fading away and the girls face... my god... her skin melting off her face. Only leaving flesh with a stitched smile... "Jason... I don't like people touching my things without permission..." I dropped the picture frame and I crashed to the ground, shattering the glass. I turned around, and there... was Jessie, her head tilted. My eyes widened and I took a step back "you failed me Jason. Now look what you've done. My parents now childless..." her voice echoed in my mind. Her lips never once moving. I couldn't blink. My eyes were fixed on her.

The room around us melted away until we were in the void, but I was still walking normally, Not falling. She walked towards me. That eerie smile was almost hypnotic. "Charles... come here..." the girl asked politely. The clown peaked his head around from behind her. He was holding the red ball with yellow stars. "What's... what's going on? Why am I here!?" I shouted. "You failed Jason. Now you're gonna pay... with blood..." Charles stepped out from behind her and gave Jessie the ball and pulled out a large knife. And ran towards me. Letting out a high pitched laugh as he ran. He jumped at me, the knife inches away from me now. Then, everything went black...
