Angel POV

Today was a good day. I just laid Bree down to sleep & Hakeem's in the shower. So I decided to just sit in bed, And watch TV. I was a little irritated or pissed yesterday about Velvet coming to Empire, But I'm over it. As I watch TV, I hear Hakeems phone beep. I pick it up & see a text. 'Unknown'... I don't want to be nosey. I go peep my head into the bathroom.

Me: Baby you have a text

Hakeem: Go ahead and answer it and tell'em I'm in the shower bae

Me: Ok

I sit back in bed & open the text to reply & see a pic of Amber naked. My blood starts boiling. Another text appeared from her. I open the text and read it.

Amber :Hope you enjoy the view. You should leave your sister for a real girl ;)

As I read the text again, Hakeem comes out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist. I look at him coldly.

Hakeem: What's wrong Ang? *walks over to me*

I show him the text & Hakeem looks at me

Me: Explain this *gets up* you promised me you wouldn't do this again

Hakeem: Baby I didn't *stands up* I haven't had sex with Amber, Only then that one time that you know about

I start walking off. Hakeem grabs me and pins me against the wall. I look at him

Hakeem: Look I told your ass I didn't touch her, Only then the one time that you know about. Baby I promised you, when I proposed I would never hurt you again. I faced the consequences for 3 years not being with you, I love you too damn much Angel

Tears roll down my face as Hakeem looks at me

Hakeem: I love you and only you alright *wipes my tears away*

Me: *nods* I'm sorry

Hakeem shakes his head

Hakeem: No I'm sorry I shouldn't have been texting her *kisses me*

I kiss him back

Me: Ok, But I swear Keem if you're with her I'm calling off the wedding & we're done

Hakeem: Ok Ang

Hakeem slowly releases me and picks me up. I laugh as he lays me down. We kiss each other softly. Hakeem holds up my hand with my engagement ring on it & softly kisses it

Hakeem: I know things have been complicated, But we can get through it together *smiles at me*

Me: Yeah *smiles*

We kiss each other again. I know we've been through a lot of crazy BS, but we apparently find our way back to each other. I smile at my brother

Hakeem: *smiles* what?

I shake my head and smile

Me: nothing just thinking about everything we've been through

Hakeem: What I told you in the beginning?

Me: That you got me *smiles*

Hakeem: I still do, I'm not going no damn where *hugs me*

I hug him back.

Hakeem: Ok get some rest we got work tomorrow *kisses me & lays down*

I turn out the light and lay down as Hakeem holds me. Tomorrows a new day hopefully with no drama
