I clicked off the group chat and found my way to Steph's contact to message her.

TO STEPH
Will you come with me tonight?

Come with you? Where? To the dinner?

TO STEPH
Yeah, it's always awkward when it's just us three, there's nothing to talk about anymore.

FROM STEPH
You've been gone for five years, surely there is stuff to talk about..

Trust me, there isn't. I told them everything the day I got here. Please, I'm begging you 🙏🏼

Ugh, fine 😂 don't forget I've got to drive down from Hereford though. If I leave now, will it give me enough time?

"Do I look ok?" I asked, turning from my mirror and looking at Steph who was laying on my bed, flicking through an old magazine.
"You look fine." She grinned and I gently smoothed down the fabric of my silk red dress. Seeing as we were going out for dinner tonight, I decided to make a bit of an effort.

Smiled and turned back to the mirror where I popped in some diamond earrings, they weren't real of course and then I slipped on my red pumps.
"Are you girls ready to go then?" My mum asked, peeking her head around my door and I nodded.
"I think so." I sighed happily.
"We'll meet you in the car then." She said before walking away.
"Come on then you sexy beast." I laughed at Stephanie who was taking selfies of herself on her phone of her double chin. Beautiful huh?

Steph laughed and followed me out of the room. I checked around before closing my bedroom door and walking down the stairs. I grabbed my denim jacket and then we made our way to the car, checking that the front door was locked properly.
Steph and I hopped in the back of the car whilst Caleb was in the drivers seat and my mum in the passenger seat.

The drive there was peaceful. I forgot how beautiful London actually is. All the bright lights and people roaming the streets were the only things to be seen plus the occasional car. You see, where I live, it's not so busy so anything hardly happens here.

Once we had parked up and paid for parking, we made our way into the restaurant, Steph and mines arms linked tightly.

"Is that Brooke and Stephanie?" I heard some girl shout. My head instantly snapped to where the voice came from and two girls came running over. I let go of Steph's arm and smiled.
"It is I, Brooke smith." I laughed and shifted my eyes to my mum and Caleb who had massive grins or their faces.
"You can go in, we'll be in soon." I smiled and they nodded before walking off.
"And it is I, Stephanie Tate." Steph said, copying my words making the two girls laugh. They looked about 12.
"Can we get some pictures?" One of them asked and I nodded, taking the girls phone out of her hand and opening up the camera where I snapped a picture of the four of us smiling. We took a few more, some serious ones and some funny ones.
"There we are." I smiled, handing the girl back her phone.
"Thank you so much. I love you both." She said, hugging us both.
"And we love you too." Stephanie giggled just as the girls mother called them back.
"We best get going now but thank you for stopping to chat with us." The girl said.
"Anytime, thank you for being so lovely." I grinned and waved at them as they walked off.
"Fans like them are my favourites." Stephanie sighed happily.

"Lee took me somewhere last night." I said to Stephanie as my mum and Caleb got into their own little conversation.
"Took you somewhere? As in a date?" She asked.
"No. God no. What kind of girlfriend would I be to Drew if I let Lee take me out on a date? Anyways Lee and I sorted things out between us and we're just friends. We snuck into a Stadium." I replied.
"Seriously? A stadium? Do you know how illegal that is? Did you get caught?" She asked, firing question after question.
"No, I did say that if we get caught he was going to take the blame. We just stayed there and spoke for ages until I blurted something out." I said and she frowned.
"Oh god, its bad isn't it?" She asked and I nodded before taking a bite of my food.
"You can't just say that and stop to eat. Tell me." She laughed and I quickly swallowed the mouthful I had to continue my little story.
"Long story short, he asked what I couldn't do and I replied with a you." I said and a grin formed on her face.
"B, you dirty little thing." She squealed before I had to shush her with a laugh as people were now looking at us, including my mum and Caleb.
"You're confusing." She laughed and I frowned.
"How?" I questioned.
"Well for starters you and Lee hated each other and now you're friends again. Then you told him that you would basically want to do him and you have a fiancé. What is it going to be?" She asked.
"Hey! Lee and I didn't hate each other. We just got off on the wrong terms and plus, lee and I are never going to be a thing again. It was just something that came out I guess." I said before taking a sip of my water.

Maybe I am confusing. Not only am I confusing myself but I'm also confusing my best friend. That's got to mean something, right?
