School ended pretty fast that day and somehow you were happy about it since you felt extremely annoyed and irritated having a weirdo following you all around the school. You let out a sigh in relief before heading straight to your locker. You played with the combination keys and swung the locker opened when something thin fell off. You put your books into the locker before bending down and picked the paper up. It read,
‘Happy Birthday, Cupcake. Hope you’ll like it.’
For a moment, you were trying to figure out what it meant. Today is… March 24 which means, “Shoot! How could I forget?” That’s when it hits you. You were so eager about everything in your life that you forgot your own birthday. You mentally slapped yourself. You turned back to your locker when you saw a box inside it which you barely notice. Curiously, you took it out of the locker and closed it. You opened the box and saw six chocolate cupcakes which was your most favorite. They looked tempting and you found yourself drooling. You really want to taste right on the spot but something made you stopped from what you were thinking.
‘Someone could have poisoned it.’ You and your silly thoughts again.
You wanted to throw them into the bin not far from you when you notice a note attached to the box so you took it and read. It says,
‘I didn’t poisoned it, Cupcake. It’s just chocolate, your favorite. P/S: Don’t you even think to throw them away. FYI, I’m watching.’
You read the note again and again and again. ‘Seriously, what is this?’
You looked up and glanced around the hallway but there’s nobody in school by now since it was almost 5. You opened your mouth and said clearly and loudly so that the person who gave you the notes and cupcakes would hear you enough if he was really watching you by now.
“Come out, you idiot! If you really are watching right now. Come on, show yourself. Don’t be such a coward!”
Your voice echoed across the silent(creepy) hallway which somehow gave you a slight nerve. You started to feel spooky that time so in the end, you decided to go home; bringing the cupcakes along with you.
