Being a nerd, you don’t have to bother about the things only the people who only cared of popularities in school. You can do whatever you like; and the fact is people won’t take any notice of you at all. The only time when people actually open their eyes and see the nerds are during the exam and the assignments seasons where they would shamelessly borrow your notes and completed assignments to copy them a hundred percent; not even giving you credits as a thank you. Well, to you, those people are selfish, arrogant, and –of course- morons.
You spend most of your time in the school library; doing this and that, reading this and that and stuffs. Piles of books and papers were like mountains on the table. You pushed your glasses as it began to slide down your nose before continuing to read through the books in front of you. Eyes not leaving the book a bit, you grabbed a pen from your pencil case and began to write down a few important notes and facts into your cutely decorated notebook. Your hand sped like crazy as you wrote. Then, you stopped; throwing the pen you were holding and tapped on the table as you tried to keep your mind going of what to add onto the notes. Eventually, you could not make up something. You ruffled your hair in frustration; examination is just around the corner and now you were having a rough time revising. In the end, you gave up; packing your things you’re your schoolbag before shoving it to your shoulder and exited the library.
As you were about to unlock your locker, you were stopped by a hand. You let out a sigh as you came to know who it was. You gazed up and saw him. Luhan’s lips curved into a boyish grin as he leaned back against the locker, “Are you free tonight, Cupcake?”
You rolled your eyes in annoyance; this guy never stops on making you pissed off.
“Would you just stop calling me that? The name’s- oh forget it, you jerk.”You pushed him away and quickly put away your stuffs into your locker; taking your necessary books for your next class, closed and locked it back before leaving without bothering to glance over your shoulder. You could hear Luhan was calling out your name –‘Cupcake’ actually, not *y/n*-.
Entering the classroom, you looked around for your usual seat. You skipped your way towards your seat. As you settled yourself down, you grabbed your notebooks and began to read its content as you waited for the teacher to come. Then, someone took a seat next to you but you didn’t even bother to look on your left side as you weren’t even interested to do so. A few moments later, you somehow could sense that you were being ‘looking at’. So, you closed your notebook and glanced to your right but there’s nothing attract you. Then, you shifted your head to your left and,
“Hey, Cupcake.”
You cursed in a low tone. Luhan was sitting right next to you; he was smiling widely to you. With a raised brow, you opened your mouth to ask him as you were somewhat curious about it in the first place since this kiddo didn’t even took an English class.
“Why the hell are you in here?” You asked him. He gave you a shrug, saying in reply, “What? I’m taking this class.”. “Since when? I ought you weren’t even taking this class.” You shot him another question. Again, he shrugged. “Since a few minutes ago. Oh? Is it me or you sounded like you were spying on me after all these days?” Luhan joked; he was smirking at the end of his words. You didn’t bother to give him a reply since if you do, this kid would probably talking nonsense to you which would only wasting your time so instead, you found yourself ignoring his stupid remarks and attempted to focus on the lesson as the teacher arrived.
