“You’ve got to be kidding me! Are you for real, _____?!” A girl shouted as her friend told he something that make her did so. Her friend immediately cupped the girl’s mouth & hushed her.
Shaking your head in reply, you answered –half whispering, “I’m not kidding, you moron. This isn’t some kind of a joke you can have a cheap laugh on. I’m damn serious about it.” You released your tight grip on your friend. “But.. He is.. He—“ You cut her words before she could even finish them.
“I know, I know. He’s our senior. But.. I just can’t help it.” You said, hanging your head down; staring at your pair of sneakers.
It was break time. You & your friend, Seohyun were hanging around together at your usual spot –at the school’s rooftop. You just told Seohyun something you have been keeping from anyone’s acknowledge but you’ve decided to let your friend to know since you can hold it in much longer.
You have been developing this common feeling a year ago at him but never have the chance to tell him as you are the qeenka in the school & he is just an ordinary student who happened to be your senior –not to mention he was some kind of a nerd the whole school’s talking about. But you don’t give a single damn about it since he was that someone who stole your precious heart & refuses to return it back whatsoever.
“No, that’s not what I mean. He’s a ‘nerd’. You know that too, _____.” Seohyun made a gesture at the word ‘nerd’ she was saying. You gave her a look, surely taken aback by her statement. “I don’t even care about that.” You shortly replied in a very cold tone. Seohyun knew you were mad at her since you are a sensitive kind of girl, she said in hope you would be soften after hearing it,
“Okay then, I’m sorry. I’m just shocked because –you know- this was the first time I’ve heard you, having a crush. And not to mention, it was ‘him. It’s ‘HIM’. It’s all of a sudden, _____. Anyway, dear.. How are you gonna confess to your ‘prince charming’, huh?”
You gazed up at your dearest friend to meet her stare, shrugging as an answer to her stupid question.

‘How’s your day today, princess? -X’
You found a note in your drawer as usual. You got notes from the same person who named himself as ‘X’ these days. You don’t have any idea from whom. You reread the sticky note & stared at it for a moment, trying to figure out whose handwriting is it. But before you could even force your little brain to work it out, the teacher came in & you totally forgot about the note for the rest of the day.

“Hey, don’t forget. We have cheerleader practice today. Don’t be late.” One of your classmates who happened to be the cheerleader team’s captain reminded you as she passed you by. You nodded your head, saying, “Okay. See ya soon, Hyeon.” You then made your way towards your locker at the edge of the hallway.
As you unlocked your locker & opened it, a familiar note fell onto the ground. You put your books away into the locker & closed it before bending yourself down, picking the note up.
‘Have a nice practice. Don’t stress yourself out, princess. –X’
You narrowed your eyes & attempted to ignore the note, shoving it back to your locker & shut it again.
“_____~”
You saw your friend, Seohyun skipping her way happily towards you. Soon, Seohyun was hugging you tightly until you can’t even breathe. “S-Seohyun.. I-I.. S-Stop hug-gging me.”
Seohyun broke the hug, she was smiling brightly at you like a maniac. You were gasping for air as she released you from the tight embrace. “____, I need to tell you something.” Seohyun beamed. She grabbed your arm & pulled you away.
You were dragged by Seohyun towards nowhere. As you followed her footsteps, you saw ‘him’. ‘Minseok?’
Your eyes were glued on him. He was wearing his big spectacles which you found suit him well. He looked rather cute than foolish. And he seemed to notice you were staring at him when he turned his head towards your way, his eyes caught yours. Your heart skipped a beat as you made an eye-contact with him for the first time. You thought you might be seeing it wrongly when Minseok’s thin lips curled upwards into a cute fashion –smiling sweetly at you before turning his head in front. You swore your heart wasn’t beating anymore when you saw it; his smile was too adorable for yourself to accept.

“WHAT?! HELL NO!!”
You screamed out loud when you heard Seohyun’s remark.
“Hell yeah, _____. I’m dating Luhan.” Seohyun said, beaming at you while your jaw was wide open as you heard her unexpected statement.
“Are you for real, Seohyun?” You said in disbelief. Seohyun nodded her head, “I’m not kidding~.” She sang.
You stared at her blankly, wondering if you ever have a date.

“Bye, _____. See ya~.”
You’ve had a long practice that evening. You were extremely exhausted & all you wanted was a nice nap. You quickly made your way to exit the school but as you passed by a classroom, you somehow saw a figure in it. Your heart skipped a beat. Everyone was already home but there’s someone inside that classroom.
You don’t how but you’re already standing right in front of the class. You stared at the figure not far from your spot. You bravely took step by step towards it. As you draw nearer, you can see clearly its face.
‘Minseok sunbae?’
You found him asleep in his class with papers on his desk. ‘He must be studying alone in here.’ Your lips formed a slight smile as you stared at him. You shook your head & glanced at your wristwatch. “Oh shit! I’m doomed!” You were running towards the door when you realized you need to wake Minseok up since it’s getting late & darker outside.
You went near his desk again, reaching your hands out to wake him up. “Op—Sun-Sunbae..” You carefully shook his body. “Minseok sunbae..” You called him, shaking him lightly in order to wake him up. Minseok let out a moan. You bit your lower lip & continued to shake him. “Sunbae, wake up. It’s late.” You called him, louder this time. Minseok slowly opened his eyes & was slight shocked to see you. He wasn’t wearing his spectacles & you just realized how beautiful his pair of eyes was. Minseok noticed you were staring at him; he quickly grabbed his spectacles from the desk & wore it.
“What’re you doin’ here?” He asked, avoiding your eyes as he spoke. You let out a soft chuckle. ‘He’s cute.’
“It’s getting late. Err.. I saw you asleep & decided to wake you up.” You answered politely. He gave you a nod & started to pack up his stuffs.
You stood there, eyeing him without him knowing. He shoved his bag to his shoulder, as he turned around; his eyes were widened to see you there. He thought you left already.
“What?” He asked you, a brow rising. You shook your head in reply & gave him a smile. He returned it with a slight smile.
“Well then, I’m going. It’s late; you’d better go home right now. Thanks by the way.” With that, he exited the classroom without glancing back.
You don’t know why but you felt different. You had to admit; you were crazily in love with this guy named KIM MINSEOK.
