Percy

Percy faced Gaea.

They were in a small room which was empty. The door was exactly like a prison door. So he assumed he was in a dungeon.

"Join me, or die!" She growled.

"Never!" Percy hissed.

"Then you shall die slowly and painfully," Gaea hissed, "you have until tomorrow to decide. Or else you will die."

Percy didn't answer.

Gaea stalked out of the room.

Percy sat on the ground and groaned in pain. Eos had scratched him up pretty badly.

He wondered where Annabeth was. He remembered them kissing a couple of days ago. Her grey eyes had sparkled intelligently, and her her blonde hair had shone in the light of the sun.

The others could be in trouble. They only had Hazel, Leo, Frank, Piper, and Jason.

Hazel was so young and innocent. Leo and Frank already had enough on their minds fighting over Hazel, although Leo did act strangely nowadays. Piper had to much going on right now: worrying Jason is going to choose Reyna over her, her dad, and her nightmares that caused her to scream in her sleep. Jason was to sure of himself, like Percy was before, Percy was afraid Jason would do something rash.

Then he remembered Shaley, who was looking for him. She could be in trouble because of him. No matter how annoying she was, she was pretty cool.

Voices snapped Percy out of his thoughts.

"Can't believe we were assigned doody duty." A gruff voice said. "I take orders from nobody!"

"Gaea isn't 'nobody', Otus." Another gruff voice said.

"Are you saying you like the job, Gration?" Otus asked, "that's sad. Even for you. After you lost a fight against a girl."

"Artemis is a goddess!" Gration roared, "and she's a much better fighter than Apollo!"

"He had Hercules help!" Otus snarled, "Artemis beat you alone with only her bow and arrow!"

They continued bickering as they walked away.

Percy laid down to go to sleep, he felt something prickly under his head: straw. Perfect.

Percy took the straw and started twisting it together. He had to escape before tomorrow, or else he would die.

Percy stuck the straw into the keyhole and quietly turned it, the door swung open. He silently ran through the hall towards the light.

Percy noticed a pen on the ground. He uncapped it and it sprang into a sword. He put the cap back on, put it in his pocket, and kept walking.

He had made it, freedom at last. Now he just had to find the Argo II, Shaley, and Annabeth. Piece of cake.

Percy ran to a small forest, and made a small tepee thingy out of branches. He slowly fell asleep.

"Boy!" A voice said.

"Athena?" Percy asked.

"No, it's the tooth fairy!" Athena said sarcastically, "who else would it be?"

"It's just, you've never spoken to me in one of my dreams before."

"You've got a problem with that?" Athena challenged.

"No. I just think it would be weird if my friends knew I was dreaming about you."

"I know, it's disgusting. But this is an emergency." Athena said, "I've been captured."

"What?" Percy asked.

"Don't rub it in!" Athena snapped, "you have to get me out of here!"

"After all you've said to me?" Percy said.

"I'm your girlfriend's mother!" Athena said.

"Fine," Percy muttered, "where are you?"

"I'm in the Parthenon."

"Wait, so, Gaea captured you in your own temple?"

"Shut up!" Athena snapped, "just free me!"

And then he woke up.

"Great, now I have to go save Athena." Percy said.

Oh great, now I'm talking to myself. He thought.

Percy sat up and crawled out of his tepee. He stood up and stretched, it shouldn't be too hard to find the Parthenon. It was a famous temple.

Turns out it was hard to find the Parthenon. Especially if you're wanted on TV. Cops kept on trying to catch him, but luckily it was easy for a demigod to blend into a crowd of mortals.

Finally Percy found someone who didn't know who he was.

"Here is a map of the city, sir. We are right here, so you'll have to head that way to get to the Parthenon."

"Thank you," Percy said handing the man some coins.

Percy approached the Parthenon. Hellhounds surrounded it. Gods, this was not going to be easy.

He stepped forward and the hellhounds growled. Percy uncapped riptide and slashed at the hellhounds. One down, two down, three, four, five, six... soon all the hellhounds were dead. Or at least in Tartarus.

Percy entered the Parthenon. Athena was chained to the wall.

"Gaea didn't seem to have a lot of monsters guarding you. Didn't seem like she thought it was worth it." Percy said.

"Cut the stupid chain." Athena snarled.

"Whatever," Percy said cutting the chains without difficulty.

Athena stood up, "you are not allowed to tell anyone what happened today." She said, and then she disappeared.

"Your welcome," Percy said after she was gone.

He walked out of the Parthenon. Too late did he realize that it was a trap.
