~Nineteen~

Amber's POV:

How could Chazz lose like that and expect me to just leave?

If he expected me to go, I would of course do the exact opposite- duel.

So that's why I'm not talking to him.

Chazz's POV:

I walked along the beach, wondering, how can I get Amber not mad at me anymore? I needed advice from someone who could deal with girls. But who?

"Is that a shark?" I heard a girl say as I flopped down on the sand.

"It's a shark all right! Watch out girls!" Atticus shouted from his jet ski.

All the girls instantly ran up to the jet ski, screaming.

"Take a picture girls, it'll last longer!" he said with a laugh. I saw Ashly sitting on the beach, shaking her head and smiling.

Of course! Atticus could help me!

He parked his jet ski and got his uniform back on, instantly being stampeded by his fangirls. I saw him disguise himself like a boss (man I'm jealous of that hair) and then switch back to his swimsuit and race back to onto the waves.

When he coasted in again, Jasmine and Mindy raced up. "Autograph please?" Jasmine said.

"Of course!" Atticus grinned.

When he handed the sheet back to them, they squealed. "HE WROTE BFF!"

"That's right, ladies. It means best friends- FOREVER!"

They squealed again and fainted.

"That always seems- to happen!"

I just stared.

"Oh, hey Chazz, did ya need something?" he asked, snapping me out of my daze.

"Um, yeah. Well, Amber's mad at me, and I wanna have her back, you know?"

Atticus smiled. "Chillax, Chazz, you've come to the right man. Now, if little miss Ashly's information is correct, the only way to impress Amber enough to get her to love you again is to duel her!"

"But how do I get her out here to duel?"

"Leave that to me," Atticus said with a grin.

-time skippy skippy-

Amber's POV:

"Oh AM-BER!!!"

Atticus ran up to me. "Hey, did you wanna hang out at the beach tomorrow?"

I shrugged. "Why not? I've got nothing better to do."

He grinned. "You can bring your duel disk! We can play card games on jet skis, like a racing duel!"

"A racing duel? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No offense."

"None taken. Still....."

"See you then, I guess, Atticus."

-the next day!-

I reached the beach in time to find Chazz polishing his duel disk, and checking a box next to him.

"Amber! Did you hear, the Spirit Keys have been stolen!" Maya exclaimed, running up to me. "We tracked them to this beach with my lock."

I froze. "The Spirit Keys?"

Chazz turned towards me. "Oh, hello, Amber! Fancy a little duel?"

So that's why Atticus brought me here.

"I bet there's some sort of condition, right Princeton?"

"Of course!" he exclaimed. "You win, I return all seven Spirit Keys."

"You took them?!?!?!"

"It was for you, Amber! I love you and I was trying to protect you! Anyway, if I win, you have to stop ignoring me and be my girlfriend again!"

I sighed. "Really, I got nothing to lose in this situation. Let's duel!"

"I play the spell card Curse of Magic!"

"Oh Ra no."

"OH. RA. YES!"

Exodia burst onto the field and Secret Light Sorcerer went to the grave. Chazz's life points hit zero, and he fell to his knees. "Amber, why?"

I walked up to Chazz, crouching down. "Chazz, look at me. I love you, okay? I never stopped loving you. I was just mad."

Chazz looked up at me. "R-Really?"

Quickly, I closed the space between our mouths, kissing him. "Yep."

"Ew. Go get a room, you too," Alexis said.

We all laughed at that.

"Hey, all the gang's together!" Syrus exclaimed. "GROUP HUG!!!!!"

"Wait, what? No!" Chazz and I shouted, but eventually we gave into the group hug. Suddenly, I felt a slight twitch. When everyone pulled back, I saw all seven keys were glowing. "Huh-what?" Chazz shouted.

Beneath our feet, the island began to shake.

Maya's POV:

The Spirit Keys all suddenly moved in the same direction, pulling Chazz with them. "What's going on? AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

Not to mention a few words that 4Kidz won't allow to appear in writing.

Jaden grabbed my hand, and we went after Chazz.

We reached the spot where the seven gates were. Oh no.

The keys broke loose, dropping Chazz (fortunately for him Amber and Zane caught him, well, mainly Zane but Amber put in a conscious effort.) A guy was standing across the field, who Jaden immediately challenged for the Spirit Keys.

"Careful!" I called after him. Jaden nodded, then hurried over and started up.

-duel timeskip-

The superintendent lost completely, Jaden rocking the Sacred Beast's worlds. An old man appeared from the youthful look, but he was okay.

"It must have been our duel- yes! It put the spring back in my step!" the guy said, walking up to

Jaden.

Jaden laughed, bear hugging the old man. I heard something crack, and then a helicopter lifted the guy away.

"I guess bear hugs and old people don't go so well together," Jaden mused,

I laughed. "Jaden, that was amazing."

He shrugged. "I mean, I try my best!"

Everyone group hugged again. "I guess this year is almost over!" I exclaimed.

"One thing left."

We all glanced at Zane. "What's that?"

"The graduation duel. The graduating class's best student gets a big official duel in front of the whole school."

Ashly nodded. "I hope it's you, big brother!"

"Me too," Sy admitted.

I couldn't wait to find out who it was.
