*Luke's P.O.V.*
Are my eyes deceiving me? I honestly can't believe what I'm seeing at the moment. How did this picture even get here? I can feel tears almost coming aout of my eyes, but I shut my eyes to prevent tears from falling down. I can't break down (again) right now, I have to get to band practice, and I don't want the boys to know. I shove the picture into my back pocket and move the mattress back to its place.

I open the door to exit my room, with my guitar in my hand, and I rush down the stairs. I grab my keys as I hug my mother goodbye, as much I hate to admit it, I'm a momma's boy. She fully supported everything I've done and she's been comforting me all this time, while I missed her. Maybe one day, I'll meet her again, and we'll fall in love and everything will be okay again? No, Luke. It's not possible. She's gone. Forever.

I sigh heading out of the front door, getting into my car. I put my guitar in it's case and put it on the passenger seat. I remember all the time she would get mad when I would make her sit in the back, because my guitar was in the passenger seat. After, we'd laugh it out and I'd give her a quick kiss on her lips. I'd move my guitar because she was way more important than a guitar to me. Those were the good ti- I'm interrupted with my phone ringing. I look at the called I.D. and it says Calum. I reluctantly pick up the phone.

"Hello?" I say a little annoyed for no apparent reason.

"Luke! Where are you? You're 30 minutes late for band practice!"

I glance down at phone and realize it's 6:30, shit.

"Oh shit, sorry. I don't know I just got caught up in my thoughts, sorry. I'll be there in 5 minutes?" I say feeling a bit bad.

"It's okay man, just hurry up, we're getting tired of waiting! Bye!" He hangs up the phone before I'm able to bye.

I put the keys in my car, and turn it on. I leave, still with her still in my thoughts. I really need to stop thinking about her. I drive for a couple minutes noticing every little detail as I'm driving there and in little time, I arrive at Michael's house. I park in his driveway and close my door as I walk to the other side I get my guitar. Once I get my guitar, I walk to the front door, feeling a little uneasy for some reason.

I knock on the door and Calum opens it and says, "Finally you're here!" He yells to the other boys, "MICHAEL! ASHTON! LUKE'S HERE!" Soon they're both running down the stairs, eager to start band practice. We go to the garage and set up our instruments, and then we start playing some songs.
We begin by playing Eighteen, then Beside You, and some other songs that aren't really important. An hour passes by and we still have 30 minutes left of band practice.

"What should we do?" Michael asks.

"Uhm, how about we play some off the songs each of us have been writing separately?" Calum suggests.

Everyone agrees, so why not? Calum plays this song he's been working on called Disconnected, Michael sings a song called Heartache On The Big Screen, and for Ashton, he just plays the beat to Teenage Dirtbag on his cajon.

"It's your turn Lukey." Ashton reminds me.

"Uhm, I don't know what to play," I groan

"C'mon Lucas, you must have something!" Calum says with a smile, why is he so positive today?

"Well, there's this one song I've been working on..." I say quietly, hoping no one heard.

"Then what are you waiting for? Play it!" Michael says, so much for being quiet.

"Erm okay," I walk over to my guitar and pick it up and start strumming it once again to Amnesia "This song is called Amnesia." I try my best not to get too emotional while performing the song for the guys, and so far I'm 3/4 into the song, and I haven't started tearing up. Good job Luke!

"I wish I could wake up with Amnesia
forget about all the stupid little things
like the way it felt waking up next to you
and the memories I could never escape
I'm not fine at all."

I finish up the song and the boys, absolutely loved the song. I could tell they loved it by the way they applauded.

"Woah! That was amazing Luke." Michael says

"That was an awesome song Lukey! Oh guys by the way, my lady friend is coming over to our band practice tomorrow is that okay? Okay." Calum walks out without any of us answering.
