Amnesia // Luke Hemmings

Chapter 11

*Calum's P.O.V.*

I don't think Katrina actually said Luke, I'm probably just imagining she did because of how god damn nervous I am. I may seem like I'm all clever and shit, but deep down inside, I'm just a nervous boy. I shouldn't have doubted her, she said she didn't so I should have taken her word.

The waiter comes back with our food and says, "Bon Appétit!" as me and Katrina start to dig into our food. I think her and I were both very, very hungry. I can tell by the way she's eating quickly, but delicately. 

"You're so beautiful. "  I think to myself.

Her head shoots up and her cheeks begin to fire up.

"Oops. Did I say that out loud?" I say, quite embarrassed.

"Yes, you did. Wow, Calum you have this type of effect on me." She says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Like, every time you compliment me or like call me babe, my heart gets all happy and I start blushing and smiling like an idiot. I just really feel this sort of thing for you." She says quietly.

"Wow, that was the nicest thing I've ever heard from a girl," I say, I'm not even kidding about that either.

She just replies by nodding her head down and smiling at her plate. I really am a lucky guy.

*Katrina's P.O.V.*

After we had both finished eating, Calum paid for our dinner. I didn't try to pay or go half-half because either way, he would have ended up paying. Plus, I just wanted to hurry up and get home to talk to Mayra about what happened.

We get into Calum's car, and surprisingly, we don't have an awkward car ride. Instead, we jam out to the music that's playing on the radio.

"Hey, hey!" The song begins, and I feel my lips curling into a smile.

"Calum, this song sounds so familiar!" I say acting my best to sound as if I don't know what song is playing, when I actually do.

"Oh my god." He says, putting his hands in front of his face to cover them as we're at a stoplight.

"I really like this song, c'mon Calum sing it with me! I found myself alone just thinking
If I showed up with a plane ticket and a shiny diamond ring with your name on it. Would you wanna run away too? 'Cause all I really want is you!" I basically shout.

"You're so embarrassing, I can't believe we're on a radio!" He says.

"I know, soon you'll be all over the world." I smile widely.

"We'll take over the world and you'll be right by my side." He grabs my hand.

"Cliche much?" I laugh.

We continue listening and partly screaming the lyrics to songs as they play on the ride home. Once we reach my house, Calum gets out the car to open the door for me. He walks me up to the porch and says, "I had a really good time with you Katrina." as he decreases the space between us.

"I did too." I said quietly, I'm only inches away from his lips.

"Well, this is a perfect way to end it." He says as he leans in a few inches, making our lips connect. My insides are nearly exploding. The kiss lasts for a few seconds more before we both pull away,

"Wow." is all I manage to say.

Calum laughs and embraces me into a hug and says, "I'll see you next time. Bye babe." He pulls away and goes back to his car.

"Bye!" I say, smiling like a idiot.

I open the door and quickly shut it. I run up to my room and also shut the door. I lean against the door frame and have a mini heart attack. That was perfect.

Too bad you love Luke more.

Why did the voice say that? I don't even love Calum yet! That's not in a bad way though, I just don't have those strong feelings enough to say that I love him, we haven't even been together for a week! The only I can really say is that I really like him, and that I have developed these crazy feelings for him

Don't lie to yourself Katrina, you know you like Luke, not Calum.

No I don't. Maybe this is my tired self talking, I look at the time. It's around 10:30. I hear a noise downstairs, it must be my parents. I slowly tip toe down the stairs, and greet my parents.

"Hi Mum and Dad!" I say loudly.

They almost have a heart attack, my mother says, "Oh my god Katrina, you almost gave us a heart attack!" she examines what I'm wearing "Why are you in a dress?"

I forgot to change, shit. "Uhm, I went on a date with a guy." I say quickly.

"You did? You must give me all the details! Where did you guys go?" She claps her hands.

"Mum," I groan.

"Honey, stop teasing your daughter." My father says as he puts his arm around her.

"I remember when we fell in love." She says looking into his eyes.

"Yeah," My father replies as he kisses her on the mouth.

"Ew, gross guys!" I say running back up to my room, while they laugh.

I change into some plain plaid pajama pants and a plain white shirt. I brush my teeth and then go to sleep.

*Luke's P.O.V.*

It's Friday, thank god! I need to rest over the weekend! I shift uncomfortable in Geometry. I look over to this girl next to me and I notice she's been staring at me for a while. Once she sees that I know she has been staring at me, her face turns bright red. I wink over at her and smirk. She smiles, and scribbles something on a little piece of paper. She passes a crumpled piece of paper that says Hi.

Here's my number, call me ;) I write my number on the back and toss it back to her. I smile in amusement, when her cheeks turn red once again and she smiles adorably. I continue looking down at my desk, not paying attention to anything but the fact I may have a future girlfriend.

I'M LAUGHING LUKE IS SO CUTE. Hey guys, my schedule has been all out of place and I'm sorry! My spring break is coming up in a few days, so hopefully I'll be able to write more! By the way, for anyone wondering, I'm not going to put who plays Katrina, or any other cast (other than 5sos). I want you guys to use your imagination to think of it. Plus, I don't want you to think she's a perfect model, picture her as yourself! Well hope you enjoy this chapter!
