despite the fact yoongi had been purposely avoiding him, jimin continued to eat and drink at the restaurant, in the hopes that one day, yoongi might be his server again.
it confused him, really, why someone would go to such drastic measures to make sure they didn't have to speak to somebody else. why not just pretend as though they were not anyone special and get on with your day normally? jimin was hurt by it, and as much as he wanted to stop going to the restaurant full stop, he always found himself back there. he was drawn there.
the distance between the two of the boys was probably because of yoongi's girlfriend, jimin thought, seeing as before she showed up on the scene, things were fine; great, even.
he wasn't going to give up trying. he had too much pride to be rejected like this.
______________
yoongi had been avoiding jimin - that much was obvious. ever since he began dating mina, jimin changed around him - to him - and it was frightening. he knew that what he was doing must have been hurting the younger boys' feelings, but he didn't see any other way that it could be.
there was no way he could continue speaking to jimin and date at the same time - he felt as though he was cheating whenever he did. this was the biggest problem he seemingly faced; especially since jimin's tips were the highlight of his days.
he needed time.
