the first day we met at the playground, we were sitting on the carousel, spinning round and round.

I was still waiting for you to speak, as you twirled your hair around your finger.

"I like names." you started.

"in fact I don't just like names,

I love names.

I've always thought it was cool that someone chose your name for you and that's what you went by for the rest of your life.

but, you see, where's the fun in that?

what if the name doesn't do you justice?"

then you just completely changed the subject to something that seemed so irrelevant that I almost stopped listening.

"I've never had a friend who's stuck around,

they all eventually left even though they promised that we'd be best friends forever.

and that's the sad truth, nothing lasts, and no one stays.

so I started playing games,

games that I made up,

they were fun for a while,

but then I got bored.

so I stopped.

but recently, it seems those games have sparked my interest,

those games have once again become fun,

and now there's a little bit of a twist."

you laughed, covering your mouth with your hand as you looked over at me.

"I like twists."

and then you became silent.

I still didn't get where you were going with this, but I waited for you to continue because you had undeniably captured my attention with your childish ramblings.

we sat there for an hour just watching the children, until I finally broke the silence.

"why do you watch the children?"

this was the second time I had asked you, but I wanted to know, it had piqued my interest and I wouldn't let it go.

"that will be discussed upon a later date," you smirked.

"I was trying to think of ways to make this sound better than it is, but I simply cannot think of anything.

names and Games.

have you figured it out yet?"

you paused for a second and let out a small chuckle as you glanced over at me.

"I created a name game,"

"every time someone new walked into my life, I simply just changed my name.

but it didn't end there,

I tested how fast I could get them to fall in love with me.

I had always been in love with the thought of love,

so why not?"

you smiled shaking your head, muttering to yourself.

"you were by far, the fastest to fall in love with me, Yoongi."

"that guy at the beach, Jin.

three weeks.

after him I never thought I would take up this pastime, but then you came along.

and here we are.

I had always been thorough,

I would change my appearance so no one recognized me, but I didn't after Jin.

that's why he recognized me at the beach,

I had told him about the game and that's why he left.

I was woo hyun with him.

I always liked changing who I was,

and my name."

I looked at you for a while, until one word left my mouth.

I had no intention of actually saying anything, but I was confused, so it just popped out.

"why?"

you laughed again.

"because yoongi, I was bored."
