"the first boy I ever played the game with was namjoon."
you had began telling the next story before I even sat next to you.
I could tell that this one was a story that you had been waiting a long time to get off your chest.
"he had raven hair with this cute little blonde streak in the front.
everyone asked why he went my rapmonster when his mom gave him a perfectly fine name, and he would get so goddamn mad whenever someone asked if he hated his real name.
Nonetheless, I thought he was cute.
and his cheeks, they were so fun to poke."
you looked over at me with a sad smile along your lips.
"it took him a full year to fall in love with me.
but, as you may have assumed, things didn't work out.
because what is love, if it is only flowing one way, and not the other.
I didn't love him,
it was more like I was infatuated with him, which there is a difference between the two terms.
we had a good run, we did all the coupley things that couples do,
but I think that's what drove me away from him.
he was sickeningly cliche.
so I guess sometime along the road, I started criticizing him, and he got sick of it.
he figured it out too, just like you.
he found out that I had only been playing with his emotions.
so he left.
but everywhere I went I could see him breezing by me with a look full of disgust.
and now you're probably wondering, 'why is he telling me about people he played with?'
well, if you can remember, back when we first met, I told you hadn't dated anyone.
obviously, as you know now, that was a lie."
I looked at you puzzled as to why you were telling me this, it didn't add up.
"well yoongi, you may have thought that we met out of pure coincidence,
that it was fate.
I assure you it wasn't.
in fact, jin told me about you, how you were best friends and how cool you were.
so I sought you out,
I followed you around for awhile.
and then it seemed like I just captured your attention.
but, I have to say, this time the game is different for me."
with that you left, skipping off to wherever you were going.
but I was still stuck in my spot,
you had followed me?
you made it seem like something so natural, but you just played a game with me?
I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised, I technically knew that before, but I think knowing the details just makes it more painful.
I should have never of asked you why, I should have left, but I didn't,
and now it seems as though I am stuck in your trap, your gentle words mesmerizing me.
because as twisted as this game that you had created was,
who would of thought that such a sweet innocent boy could have devised it?
now it was certain in my mind,
something wasn't quite right about you.
