chapter 3

**next day Caleb's POV**

I wake up to the annoying bring of my alarm, second day of school and I'm already tired of it. I take a quick shower and get dressed in a grey v- neck, a pair of cache pants, black Vans and a backwards snap back.

I walk out of my room and see Cameron sitting on the couch with an folder in his hand "so I did a little digging on this Avalon girl that you think is Reese.." He says

"And?" I ask

"And I went underground I asked Cade and his brother if they had heard of a girl named Reese they said no but when I showed them a picture they said that they had meet her but her name was Avalon not Reese" he says

"So I was right" I say

"I don't know I mean maybe the only thing I don't understand is if she did fake her death where did the body come from and what happened to Michael?"

"Well if that girl is Reese then maybe she has the answers" I muse

"What's in the folder?" I ask trying to continue the conversation

"Um it's records of anyone between here and home that has gone by the name of Reese or Avalon since the day Reese supposedly passed" he explains

"What kind of records?"

"Cell phone records, banking records, car records really any and all records you could imagine" he says handing me the folder

"Why are you giving this to me?" I ask

"Because you were closest to Reese and if this is really her and this stuff is true your gonna want to look at it before the rest of the gang" he says

"What did she do that was so bad?" I ask

"It's something that happened before she moved to where we live" he says

"Cam we all have had a dark point in our lives" I say

" I know and I'm not judging her I've do some pretty bad things myself I just think you should look in the folder" he says

" I will" I say taking the folder out of his hand. He silently leaves the dorm, I sit down on the couch and start flipping through the folder...

**Reese's POV**
I walk out of my English class when I get a text from Logan it says call me ASAP, but while I was looking down I bump into Ronnie who happened to be with Carson and Ella

"Hey Reese" Ronnie says with a smile and Carson and Ella just give me puzzled looks

But I play it off cool

"I don't know who your talking about" is all I say before I rush away.

I exit the building and call Logan

"Hey" I greet

"Don't hey me" he hisses

"What did I do now?" I ask

"You started fighting again" he say with anger placed into his voice

"It was once and I don't see the big deal"

"You don't see the big deal! The big deal is that if anyone finds out you aren't who you say you are then soon everyone will know that you lied and Micheal will find out and kill you" he says slightly raising his voice

"Calm down no one will find out" I say

"You say that now but just wait"

"Why are you getting so worked up?" I ask

" Because everything your brothers and I have done was to protect you and its like you have a death wish, you minus well be walk around with a Target on your back" he says

"Logan I will not go back" I say

"Good because if I find out that you do we will have no choice but to move you again" he said before hanging up

Well that went good I mutter to myself. I mean Logan has a point but fighting is in my blood and I'm not going to stop it just because some crazy people are after me. My thoughts were interrupted as the bell rings and I go to my last class of the day. Thank God.

I walk into my biology class and to my seat, I pull out my laptop and prepare for notes.

"Okay class you have a test coming up so I decided to put you into study groups. Group one is Ronnie, Reese, Caleb, Cameron Ella and Carson, Group two.."

He continues to talk but the shock of who he paired me with just gets to me. I didn't even know they were in this class. Ugh great just great.

So what did you think? I personally liked it and I put a little mystery into this chapter. But a topic I need to address is grammar and spelling, I have been updating on my phone because I broke my laptop and on my phone is autocorrect so please do not be a grammar Nazi I make mistakes but so does everyone else and if you have a problem with my writing them you can find a different story to read because I try my hardest to keep these stories good and interesting and once I finish this series I will do some editing but until then you can either deal with it or quit reading, and I'm not trying to be rude but it is what it is.
