We meet again

chapter 8

I wake up with a pounding headache on the floor of someone's dorm I groan and hit Carson with a pillow "wake up" I say 

"No" she says rolling over

"Will you guys shut up" Ronnie says 

"what's with all the noise" Ella says 

"Look who's awake" Caleb says with a smirk

"What time is it" I ask rubbing my head 

"Noon" Cameron says

"Noon! we've missed practically all our classes" Ella says in a worried tone 

"Ella it's saturday"Caleb says 

"How did we get here" I ask 

Looking at Caleb for an answer but he doesn't answer so Cameron does "The bartender called me from your phone last night and said you were drunk and he didn't want you guys driving" He explains 

"Well since I'm here I minus well eat" I say standing up and walking to their fridge. I examine the contents of the fridge.

"I think there's ​some pizza" Cameron says

I look for the pizza but I stop when I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and see Caleb waiting behind me. But me beginning the idiot I am don't say anything I just stand there, without saying anything. He teaches around me and grabs a bottle of water and walks away. I grab the box of pizza and walk back to my spot on the floor.

"That was awkward" I comment 

"Only cause you made it awkward" Ella says 

"Well he hates me" I say in a duh tone 

"No he doesn't, he really really cares about you" Cameron says 

"If he cared about me then he wouldn't death stare me every time he sees me" I say

"All you have to do is break through his walls and you will see" Cameron says 

"And what do you suggest I do?" I ask 

"Talk to him" Carson says 

I mutter a whatever and lay back down and drift back to sleep. 

******A few hours later******

I wake up to someone shuffling through the kitchen. I look up and see Caleb and just Caleb everyone left. 

"Where is everyone?" I ask 

"They left and went to the boardwalk by the beach" He says no even looking at me 

"Okay well I guess I'm gonna go" I say walking to the door and as I pass him he grabs my wrist 

"Um I was getting ready to go meet them if you want to come with me you can" He says looking at his feet 

"Okay" I say

we leave the dorm and walk to his car, the whole ride was silent, he just sat there with one hand on the wheel and the other resting on the middle console. We arrive at the boardwalk  and he calls Cameron to see where they are at, they exchange a few words and then he hangs up.

"Okay he said they are by the ferris wheel" Caleb says 

I nod "Do you know where the ferris wheel is?" I ask 

"No clue" He answers 

I chuckle and walk towards one of the workers at on of the booths and Caleb follows me. The worker looks around my age and looks amazing but that's besides the point.

"Excuse me sir do you know where the ferris wheel is?" I ask 

"Yeah do you see that big circular thing with all the lights on it, that's it" he says in a duh tone with a smirk. sarcastic ass. I walk towards the ferris wheel with Caleb next to me. I was about to start a conversation with him when the others come into sight and they start to wave us over. 

"So what are we going to do?" Carson asks taking a bite of her cotton candy

"oh let's take a walk on the beach" Ella says 

we all walk onto the beach and just aimlessly walk around, but somewhere along the way Carson and Cameron need to find a trash can to throw away the rest of their food and Ella wonders off talking about how she had to pee so they just left us. 

"And then there were two" I say as I walk up to Caleb 

"We need to have a serious talk" Caleb says pulling me down onto the cold sand next to him 

"Okay..." I say

"I promise I won't yell" Caleb says 

"Okay..." I say 

"So when you left Charlie had just died and you told me you would always be there for me, but when I needed you the most you left..."  He trails 

"..." I open my mouth to say something but he cuts me off 

"But I want to forgive you, because know I understand why you did what you did and frankly how I was acting was immature and childish, So I'm s-sor"

"You're sorry" I say finishing his sentence 

"Yes" He says shaking his head 

"But if anyone should be apologizing it should be me, so I'm sorry as well" I say looking into his icy blue eyes and out of nowhere he kisses me and I kissed him back, I place one hand on his cheek and the other on the ground next to me for support while one of his hands is placed on my thigh. The kiss was deep but soft and you can tell we both really really want it, but sadly we were interrupted by Cameron 

"Guys let's go" he says waving us over to him 

We jump apart and stand up, I grab my shoes and wipe the sand from my legs before jogging over to Cameron and leaving Caleb behind 

"Looks like you guys did a little more than just talk" Cameron says with a smirk

"Not a word to anyone" I say pointing my index finger at him and he holds his hands up in surrender 

"Where are the girls?" I ask

"Over by the ring toss" he says pointing at a booth

I jog over to the girls and when I arrive I see them talking to Cade

"Hey Cade" I say with a smile 

"Hey" He greets as the boys walk over to us 

"Who is this?" they say in union crossing their arms 

"This is Cade him and his brother own white oak" I say 

"well we haven't done much fighting lately" Cameron says 

"Well shall we play some ring toss" Ella says 

Aloha readers,                                                                                                                                                                          So obviously Reese and Caleb will be getting closer over the next few chapters and I am so excited. But them getting together will also lead to some jealousy from both Cade and Caleb. Another question I have for you guys is how do you think the brothers will feel about everything.
