We meet again

chapter 7

I sit at the cafeteria table picking at my bagel while the others talk about the soccer game the school played in the other day, but science falls on the table.

"So Reese us girls are having a girls night tonight are you in?" Ella asks

"Yeah sure" I say

"But I want to stop by the white oak for a fight or two" I add

"That's fine with me the bartender is hot" Ella says and the other girls nod agreeing with her.

"Alright so we meet by the big tree in the Court yard after our last class" I say

I wait by the big tree with ella as the other girls approach me "Ready?" I ask 

"yep" Ronnie says 

"So it is currently 3:30 what are we going to do?" Carson asks 

"Well there is a cafe down the road and then after that we could go back to one of our dorms until we go to white oak" Ella says 

"Sounds like a plan" I say 

we walk to the parking lot and we all load into one car and Ella drives for a short 5 minutes until we reach the cafe, we walk in and get at the end of the line "so Reese how are your brothers?" Carson asks 

"Their good, their still at the university back home" I say 

we get to the front of the line and place our orders "Ronnie how do you know the gang?" I ask while we wait 

"Well caleb is my cousin and when my mom and dad split I decided to go to school up here just to get space" she explains 

"So where are you from?" I ask 

"Raleigh, North Carolina" she says

By the time our conversation ends our order is ready and we take a seat at a table outside

****************************LATER THAT DAY AT WHITE OAK ****************************

The four of us walk into white oak and take a seat at the bar. before coming here we changed at the dorms and I am currently wearing adidas leggings and a matching bra with a cropped sweatshirt over it. My thoughts trail off and then I see Cade walk over

"Hey Avalon" He says

"Actually can you call me Reese?" I ask 

"Why?"

"It's a very long story" Ella says adding emphasis on the very

"Okay.. Reese what can I do for you lovely ladies?" Cade asks

"Well I want to fight-" I start

"And I want vodka" Carson says 

"Okay I will get you your vodka and Reese you're up next" 

Cade walks back over with Carson's vodka right when the fight ends and it's my turn. I approach the ring and see that I'm fighting another girl, she has a manly build and a lot of muscles and she would be a lot more intimidating if she didn't have a unicorn tattoo on her left ankle.

"Ready and fight" the announcer say

we circle each other before she makes the first move swing punches at my face but only on strikes and it busts my lip. I stagger back but run at her and tackle her to the ground and send punch after punch to her head and she claws at my arms and squirms trying to free herself but she stops and I win. That was surprisingly easy. I walk out of the ring and the announcer calls a few people over to get the girls body out of the ring. I take my seat back at the bar and see Cade chatting it up with the girls.

"Good job" he says handing me my winnings "Anything else I can get you?"

"Yes how bout a round of victory shots" I say

sorry for the super short chapter it's just a filler. Hopefully something exciting will happen next chapter. but I will try and update more frequently because exams just finished and summer is only a week away and for those of you who are out of school I hope you have an amazing  summer  but over course don't forget to read.
