-Levi's POV-

I sit quietly at in my office, I'm too mentally exhausted to play an instrument and (f/n) needs her space after mysteriously waking up after four hours of being fucking dead. I stare blankly at the stupid amount of paperwork on my desk that needs to be done even though I should be killing titans, not using a fucking feather pen. That job should be done by the people with shitty unicorns on their sleeves.

The quill in my hand finally touches the paper and just in that moment Mr Pickled Eyebrows (props to EunSang101 for thinking up this nickname, I just had to use it at least once) throws open my large double doors and stomps in so loudly that I had to force my mouth not to snap at his impudence.

I may have respect for the guy but he needs to learn that it's polite to knock before you enter with shoes so muddy that they leave footprints of wet dirt all over my perfectly clean carpet.

"I want to talk to you Levi" Two larges hands slam on my desk and I watch in disgust as the force of this action causes the ink from my quill to splatter over my clean paper and the bottle containing the rest tip over and slowly, patronizingly, move towards the edge of the desk and also onto my carpet.

I think he may or may not need to die right about now.

"You come in here with filth covering your boots and then you have the guts to slam your large hands on my desk and make an even worse mess" My body is perfectly still as rage seeps it's way into every part of me.

"You would've ignored me had I not done that" I tch at Erwin's stupid comment.

"If you had knocked on the door and not made a fucking mess then I would've paid attention to you" I stand up and push away from the desk and lock eyes with this fool as I also place my hands on the desk in front of me and lean over.

"And regardless of that I will have to pay attention to you anyway because you are my fucking senior" I don't know if he can tell but he has pissed me off to the point where I have started to wish that I actually killed him back then.

"It's about (f/n)" Three words is all it takes for him to shut my mouth, he's not allowed to know that I have feelings for her, Hanji said it herself to (f/n) "If Erwin wants you then he will take out anyone and everyone to take you for himself" were her exact words if I remember correctly.

Erwin must've taken my silence as a queue because he goes on.

"I can't have you developing any sort of relationship with her-"

"That's hilarious coming from you" I interrupt his words with a snark comment, earning me one of his 'stern looks' as his large eyebrows knit together and his mouth draws into a tight line.

"As I was saying, I think you need to take a break from her and go out in the field for a few weeks" Erwin finishes his sentence and my blood turns cold, he can't seriously want to send me out.

"You'll be going with the 57th expedition and taking care of that Yeager kid, just like you said you would" I glare at him as he finishes his order, he was the one to suggest that I do that in the first place and now I have no choice.

"And what, might I ask, are you going to be doing?" I already know his answer.

"Staying here, taking care of (f/n)"

"I assume you meant to say 'taking (f/n)' because that's what's going to happen" my words come out even louder as Erwin calmly looks at me in the eye before smiling slightly.

"Then you have assumed correctly" Is all that shit says before standing up and walking to the door. My blood is no longer frozen, in fact, it's boiling. I'm furious.

"Erwin! You know that my whole squad will get killed, don't you care for wasting human lives?!" my voice raises to a shout as the commander pushes open the door.

"That's why I'm sending you captain" is all he says before walking out the door and slamming it behind himself.

"I know that's not the reason you fucking arse"

-Your POV-

I wake up to find nothing.

Nobody is in my room to greet me when I awake, nobody is in the kitchen or dining areas, in fact, I haven't seen a single person in the entirety of the Scouting Regiments Headquarters.

My hand clutches my stomach as I search for someone, anyone will do, especially is that someone is Levi.

I need to talk to him about what he said but I haven't seen even the slightest trace of him. I only can tell that he isn't anywhere to be seen because dust covers the walls and objects all around me.

"Achida, what's going on?" I find myself asking the voice in my head for answers as if they know more then me.

'Well, I would suggest getting something to eat before you do anything at all' I nod my head to his sensible reply and turn around to begin walking down the deserted hallway and back to where the food is.

I wonder where everyone could've gone.
