-Your POV-
There's something weighing down on my body and shaking me. I can hear muffled voices, they sound panicked.
'What are they so worried about? Why is it so cold?' My thoughts are racing as I try to comprehend the situation I have found myself in.
"(f/n)! Wake up!" I hear my name being called and something clicks inside me. Myles...
"Let me handle this" I hear an older man say while I feel two large hands shoving down on my chest three times.
'Erwin's trying to do CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) on me... So why wont I open my eyes or my mouth to say that I'm okay?' I think to myself as I try to force open my lips. Nothing works, it's as if I'm simply spectating in the blackness behind my eyelids.
"We have to get her inside to warm her up! CPR isn't going to work here!" I hear my twin say hurriedly and I can hear Erwin agree under his breath. Erwin's two large hands wrap around my waist and lifting my lifeless body into the air, he then starts walking with me bridal-style.
After what seems like hours I am suddenly greeted by a wave of warm air and I inwardly sigh. I can feel myself being lowered down and I can hear the cracking of the fireplace in front of me.
The warmth gets to my head and I can feel myself falling asleep. Before my mind closes entirely someone huddles up to me and curls me up in their arms. My twin brother holds me tight as I feel my body relaxing to his familiar touch.
~Flashback Ends~
"The n-next morning I had woken up with a stutter" I look up at Hanji and expect her to looked bored by my backstory just like everyone else was, but rather then looking bored she looks ecstatic with interest.
"I'm not sure if being out in the f-freezing cold was the reason, but ever since then my body has m-mainly refused to grow" I scratch my elbow nervously as my eyes wander over to Levi's to see his reaction. He looks exactly the same as usual, maybe a little hurt if anything. This confuses me but before I can inquire about anything Hanji laughs in excitement.
"So your brother got taller and you were stuck small?!" She basically screams and I flinch slightly as I nod my head. Hanji squeals in excitement.
"Now tell me about your brothers death and what happened next!" Hanji drools slightly as she ecstatically yelps this request to me. I look down at my hands and swallow, I haven't talked about what happened to anyone...
"You won't b-believe me" my voice comes out more harsh then I had intended but I just keep looking down at my hands because what I say is true.
"Try me" Hanji says and I shoot up my head to see her smirking at me. 'you don't have to do this' The voice says to me and I think for a moment. Hanji says she'll believe me but what if she just laughs at me?
"Hanji, let her go" I hear Levi speak with his usual monotone voice and I flicker my (e/c) eyes towards his. He's staring directly at me. I can feel the butterflies invade my stomach yet again and I clutch my gut.
'Not fair that he can make me feel this way.' I switch my gaze back towards Hanji and nod my head slowly.
"It's okay, I'll tell you." Hanji leans in excitedly as I begin my story again.
"It had been two years s-since the Incident in the snow storm, ever since then I can say honestly that my naive self had developed f-feelings for Erwin, after all, he had saved my life."
~Flashback Start~
I run to Erwin's office excitedly, it wasn't often that he asked for my company and I was excited, that is, until I see my tall twin brother inside the room and looking down at me as I enter. My cheeks start to flush and I look down at my feet as I close the doors behind me.
"Thank you for coming so quickly, I have some troubling news for all of us." Erwin says with a sigh and I snap my head up to look at him. I feel myself step backwards slightly as Erwin's eyes connect with my own.
'He looks so mad' I find myself thinking as Erwin breaks eye contact and looks at my brother with kind eyes. Another pang of jealousy. 'He isn't yours, stop feeling jealous, you know that he will never look at you that way.' I slap myself mentally and concentrate on the matters at hand.
"Dear brother, they have found you and your sister" Erwin says and I raise my eyebrows in confusion.
"Who's f-found us? What h-happened?" My brother just grabs my arm and instead of answering my question he shushes me and looks at Erwin again.
"Follow the directions on this map, it will take you somewhere safe" Erwin says and I open my mouth to object but with just one glance from my brother I close it again.
"I understand" Myles says and then suddenly Erwin drags him away from me and leans down to whisper in my brother's small ear.
"If all else fails, you must live, do anything to come back alive, even if it costs your sisters life"
