Welp, you guys got this story to 1000 reads, and I know that totally isn't heaps but, as promised, here you go (Sorry if my writing style has changed slightly).
-Your POV-
It has been three weekssince everyone has disappeared, yet somehow the food stays fully stocked, which is strange because every exit is locked. Trust me, I've tried opening all of them with no luck.
The problem with this is that I've already done everything I can to take my mind off the fact that I may never see Levi again. I've trained for hours, I've cooked, I've cleaned everything, I've named every person in every painting.
But now I don't have anything to do and it's starting to hurt.
'You could smash a window' I pause, it makes perfect sense, I've been in Erwins room, I know where Levi's squad should be hiding out at this time. I jump up from my position on the floor and run down to the armory, it takes me ten minutes to gear up completely and just like that I'm on the top floor and getting ready to jump through an office window.
'Are you absolutely sure about this (f/n)?' I nod in response to the voice's question and without second-guessing myself I back away from the window, run at it, and smash through. It takes a second of falling before instinct jumps in and pushes me into action.
It takes me twenty minutes to get to Wall Rose and from there I start heading to where the Titan Forest should be located.
Five minutes and I notice that maybe coming out during daylight was not the best idea.
Thirteen titans: One abnormal, two ten meters, six five meters, three seven meters. I can't tell the height of the abnormal titan because it's on all fours and moving rapidly towards me.
Shit.
-Levi POV-
We aren't meant to be on the move, my whole squad knows that we're meant to have settled into a hideout by now. Thankfully they're not asking questions because I don't know how to explain this feeling in my gut.
It's not a large problem that I'm disobeying orders because shitty eyebrows told me to stay there for another two fucking weeks and no way in hell am I doing that. He won't notice I'm gone for a day I don't care anyway.
All that matters is that this feeling of dread in my gut is right.
After thirty minutes of straight riding the titan forest can be spotted in the distance. Still nobody questions my authority and we continue to ride towards the big-ass trees. Petra rides up besides me and I glance over at her as she waves for my attention giving her permission to ask a question, clearly I was incorrect about my earlier statement.
"Captain, why are heading to the Titan Forest?" I grimace inwardly at her question but remained as calm as possible.
"There were sightings of a large group of titans in this area." Short and simple, I just hope to god that she doesn't think to hard about it because I don't even know if my statement was true...
after another five minutes of riding I'm shocked to see that I was completely correct about my false report. Twelve titans are chasing something or.... someone...
"Captain! That's a Scout! The titans are chasing a Scout!" Eld shouts behind me and I narrow my eyes and focus on the quickly advancing person. A bolt of fear strikes through me and my eyes widen as I realize who the unskilled cadet is.
"(f/n)" One word escapes my mouth and I almost throw up. She was meant to stay at the HQ. Erwin promised me that she would be safe but here she is, without a fucking horse, and running out of things to grapple to.
In an instant I'm off the horse and flying full-speed towards the titan horde.
I'll save you (f/n), be sure of that.
-3rd Person POV-
Levi Ackerman is speeding straight to the giant mass of titans, completely ignoring his companions calls he rockets faster and faster to almost certain death for any normal person.
Except one thing.
Levi isn't normal and will do anything to protect the ones he loves.
For a split second (f/n) has noticed him and has begun to scream his name but it is cut of almost instantly by a large hand snatching her from the air. Levi continues on without realizing who just called for him and fury overwhelms him while he accelerates towards the giant monsters.
In a flurry of spins half of the titans are dead on the ground and only five more to go. Shortly after Levi has taken care of them but he quickly realizes that there were twelve titans, not eleven. A quick survey of the area shows one last titan and to his total horror the last titan is holding (f/n) in it's disgusting hand.
She screams while attempting to free herself from its grasp and Levi knows he's seen this happen before.
Levi flies around Shiganshina looking somebody to help and quickly spots the tiny girl from earlier that day in a titans grasp, in a flash he has pulled her from near death and rescued her. A feeling tells him that he'll meet her again.
Only this time, he didn't know if he could get there in time. In an instant he has ignored his doubts and begun flying towards the abnormal as it starts lowering her frail and weak body into its mouth.
Levi lands on the titans face and stabs it's eyes, in that small instant it's grip weakens and Levi grabs (f/n) before flying away, she obviously slows him down but he couldn't care less.
-your POV-
I look up at my rescuer and lock eyes with Levi. He's covered in slowly dissipating titan blood and one of his arms is bleeding his blood. A quick glance over his shoulder gives me a perfect view of an oncoming titan, the abnormal one. It's eyes are steaming but the disgusting thing ignores it and starts pouncing towards us.
"Levi-" I open my mouth to speak.
"Shut it! Why did you come here?!" Levi is shouting, I cower away slightly in fear before my lips part yet again.
"I came searching for you! Now let me go!" I attempt to wriggle out of his grasp but it's tighter then I expected. Levi lands on a rotting titan and hold me out in front of him before pulling me into his arms and embracing me.
"L-Levi..." He entwines his hand in my hair and I look up at him, in a quick instant he's kissing me, I choose to kiss back and for a single moment everything's okay.
"(f/n), promise me something..."

"Stay with me forever" I feel myself beginning to cry so I close my eyes. He continues stroking my hair and I sigh slightly under my breath. I know that if we stay here any longer both of us will die.
'You'll be okay sis.'
I hear the thumps of the titan getting closer and closer, in the last instant I pull away roughly and shove Levi off the side of the rotting titan and out of the way of the oncoming threat.
-Levi POV-
She shoved me off the titan, if she hadn't done that then we could've been together in death forever. In almost slow motion I watch as the abnormal opens it's mouth right over top of (f/n) and she smiles at me before mouthing two words and saluting.
