Draco's pov.

I wake up the next day and am still very sore. Madam Pomfrey rushes over with a tray of food. I don't meet her eyes. I had to stay in the hospital wing till all the classes were over just to 'make sure' I was fine.

I walk out after the last bell and run right into Hermione.

"I came to bring you your homework." She says.

"Thanks," I say gruffly taking the stack of books from her. She asks if I feel better and I nod. Madam Pomfrey had magically gotten rid of my bruise so at least I looked normal. We walk up to our common room and find a portrait of an older gentleman waiting for the password.

"Welcome mister Malfoy. I am Sir Fredrick, password?" Hermione whispers unity and we step inside our common room.

It's grand. It has a large stone fireplace on one wall and facing it are large comfy looking black sofas. The floors are a black marble and the walls are light gold silver. There's a small kitchenette and a staircase leading up to a loft with two doors, one green and one red. On the wall with the fireplace I see another door this one black Hermione explains that it's a small library.

Hermione walks up the stairs with me and then goes into her own room. I walk into the green doored room and find a bedroom the size of my old Slytherin dorm but that one I had to share with five other boys, and this I have all to myself. My room is silver with a big four-poster bed covered in soft looking deep green sheets. There's a window bench perfect for reading and a dark oak desk tucked in between some bookshelves. Another door leads to a bathroom with white marble floors and a bathtub big enough for four people. Finding my trunk at the foot of the bed I change out of my robes and slid into bed I would do my homework later after a quick nap.
