Hermione's pov.

Draco and I are happy, very happy. The necklace he had gotten me is very pretty and I wear it night and day. I was a bit untrusting at first but I know Draco just wants to protect me. Unfortunately, the necklace only worked one way. I gave myself a paper cut in charms and Draco also received one. It's unfair really I used to get pain when he was injured but he still gets milder case of what I get.

Draco and I are going to travel by floo to my parent's house this morning. My mom believed in the 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day' thing and on Thanksgiving always made a big deal about it. I'm pretty nervous about my parents meeting Draco but he will be there at my side providing safety. I had told them about how Draco bullied me and in my letter to them I had just said 'a new friend'.

I grab my cloak and take Draco's hand. He gives it a squeeze and I smile up at him.

"Excited? Nervous?" He asks.

"A bit of both," I say grabbing some floo powder. We step into our fireplace. The green flames rush around us and we start to spin.

We land and Draco helps me out of the fireplace. I look up at him. His platinum blond hair is covered in soot. I giggle and run my hand through his hair. He leans down and brushes a fleck off my cheek.
