Hermione's pov
Once breakfast is over I help mum clear the table. Draco had offered to help but I had told him to go sit down. My mum looks over at me.
"I knew this would happen, it's only natural I suppose." She says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I knew you would date someone that you thought your father and I wouldn't approve of."
"Mum, I'm not dating him because I want to date a 'bad boy' just to test my freedom."
"Then why are you?"
"Because we're mates and I love him."
"What does that even mean."
"I thought you read my book."
"I thought you were joking."
"Mum listen, Draco and I are going to date. We're going to get engaged and then we're going to get married. I'm going to be happy my whole life because of him. I'm never going to leave him." She turns and walks towards the table to speak to dad.
I walk into the living room and find Draco reading one of his text books.
"The rest of my family should be here later today," I say sitting down on his lap and running my hands through his hair. He nods still reading his book. Then he looks up at me, with those stormy grey eyes. I am his and he is mine.
