“Same!” I squeal and give Robbie a quick squeeze.

We walk through security and grab a map, each choosing our own points of interest. Robbie chooses only little things and shops to go to, while I’m all over the larger rides.

“Robbie! You should totally do this,” I point to The Whizzer on the map, “I used to hate roller coasters too, but I started on this one. There’s no loops or big drops, and it’s not that high off the ground.”

“Fine, but that’s the only one I’m going to do.” He groans. We intertwine our fingers and walk through the bustling crowd, every once in a while bumping into a complete stranger. It was busy, as any theme park would be on a sunny, July morning. Everyone was trying to get to the ride they wanted as quickly as possible to get a good spot in line.

But I couldn’t stop thinking about what Robbie had done earlier. He kissed me, right in public, with no warning. He also told the lady that we were a couple. He said he liked me, but all of this didn’t add up.

Were we a couple now? Or still friends who both like each other? My head was spinning, and I needed to speak up.

“Um, Robbie?” I ask, gazing deeply into his beautiful green eyes.

“Hm?”

“So, about earlier…”

“Ya, what about it?”

“Are we, I don’t know, a couple now?”

“I don’t really know. Ya, I suppose we are.” He replies knowingly, smirking.

“Good. I just needed to clear that up.”

And, just like before, Robbie smashes his lips onto mine without any warning, right in public. Except this time there was more passion. I kissed back, deepening it. His warm, plump lips fit mine perfectly like the last piece to a jigsaw puzzle, and I wish we could have been like this forever. But as we started getting more attention, I pulled back.

Robbie and I just beamed at one another, then continued walking like nothing even happened.

Finally, the line for the Whizzer was visible. And fortunately, it was a short wait. Only about fifteen minutes.

We walked through the entrance, zigzagging our way through the ropes. We come up behind a group of three teenage girls, all about thirteen or fourteen in age. They both turn around and one squeals so high I swear it could’ve broken glass.

“OH MY GOD! IT’S THE ROBBIE KAY! OH MY GOD, I’M, LIKE, YOUR BIGGEST FAN EVER!” She screams, jumping up and down in excitement.

One of her friends has a perplexed look on her face, while the other face palms her forehead in utter annoyance. Oh God.

“Oh, um, hi.” Robbie says sheepishly. He gets this a lot and finds it annoying when his fangirls make fools of themselves, screaming crazily. He much more prefers the solemn type, as any celebrity does.

“Can I have your autograph? Oooh! Can we have a selfie together?” She begs, making puppy dog eyes to Robbie.

“Um, ya sure, I guess.” Robbie says, and the girl brings him in a close side hug. He makes a barely audible moan, and puts a fake smile on for the picture. I try my hardest to hold back my laughter, and a small giggle comes out. Robbie rolls his eyes at me, but I just stick my tongue out at him.

Apparently the girl didn’t have a pen, so she went around asking everyone for it. When she finally got one, it was time to go on the ride.

Robbie put his hands up in an ‘oh well’ gesture, and got in his seat. He was sweating and playing with his fingers frantically.

“Robbie. Andrew. Kay. You. Will. Be. Fine.” I say, rubbing his back. He just grips the handle harder.

“Hello, ladies and gentlemen, everyone ready?” A voice comes over the loud speaker. Employees come around and press on the handles to make sure everyone is secure.

“I will count down from three,” He says, and I already know what’s coming, “THREE, oops!”  He says, and the cart starts moving. Slowly it makes the turns up to the small drop.

Robbie just looks as if he’s been electrified. I put my hands up, and whoop and holler the entire way, trying to lighten the mood.

“Here we go!” I scream, holding Robbie’s hand.

We zoom down the small slope, twisting and turning and making a few other small drops afterwards. Robbie is screaming and laughing uncontrollably at the same time.

That’s a good sign, I think to myself.

The ride finally comes to an end, and Robbie and I both get shakily out of the cart and grab our things from the small cubbies provided.

“That. Was. So. Much. Fun!” Robbie says, mocking me from earlier and punching his fists in the air, “Let’s do that again!”

“Sure thing. So it wasn’t as bad as you thought it was gonna be, eh?” I nudge him in the arm.

“It was amazing! I can’t believe I’ve never done this before!”

“So you want to go on a larger one after we do this again?”

“We’ll see.” He says chuckling.

We both lean in and kiss again, and I swear every time is just more and more…perfect.
