That night after returning home, Papyrus heads straight to his room to continue exploring his new body.
I go to my room, as well. Once I enter, I close the door behind me and lay on my bed, holding my hands up in front of my face.
(I can't believe that we're really humans. I wonder how Tori, Frisk, and the others will react to this.)
I put my arms down with my hands on my stomach, closing my eyes.
(It was honestly probably a really bad idea to go through with this without properly telling everyone..)
Just then, there's a knock at my door.
"Come in, Pap."
He quickly opens my door and hurries over to me, carrying his phone.
"Sans, we must take a picture together so that everyone will believe what really happened today!"
I sigh, sitting up and scratching the back of my head. "Sure thing."
He moves over to where we're sitting side-by-side and turns on his front facing camera, wrapping his free arm around me. "Okay, smile!"
I muster up the best smile I can. After taking the picture, he stands up and starts heading for the door. "I can't wait to see what everyone says about this!"
He turns around after exiting my room, saying "Good night, brother, and thank you very much for today."
"No problem."
After my reply, he closes my door and heads back to his room.
I flop back down on the mattress, rolling over to lay on my side.
(I wonder if Frisk and Papyrus will start dating soon?)
Letting out one last exasperated sigh, I curl up under my blanket and close my eyes.
(Oh well. As long as they're both happy, that's all that matters to me...
...
...right?)

The next morning, I'm woken up to the sound of my phone ringing. I feel around on my nightstand to find it, trying to avoid having to move much. After finding it, I answer without checking the caller ID, and, in a groggy voice, say "Hello?"
"Sans! I'm sorry I haven't talked to either of you since I went home the other day. I was wondering if maybe you and Pap would want to hang out today?"
I sit up in bed. "Sure, just tell us wh-"
My eyes widen when I see my other hand.
"Wait, that...wasn't a dream?"
"What wasn't a dream," she asks curiously.
"Uhh..kid, have you been on UnderNet lately?"
"No, why?"
"Well..there's something pretty big that happened with Pap and I.."
"What is it?"
"Papyrus and I, we're..humans now.."
The line is silent for a moment until Frisk's laughter fills my ear.
"Haha, y-you're jo-ha-joking haha...that's a good one."
"For once in my life, I'm being dead serious."
"Sounds like a joke to me. Besides, it sounded you even made a pun there.."
I let out a sigh and run my fingers through my hair. "Look, Papyrus said he was posting a picture of us on his profile. Maybe you should check it out. I'll explain what happened when we pick you up. Just..please try not to be freaked out. Okay, kid?"
"Aye aye, captain Sans."
"So, when do you want us to pick you up, and where do you wanna go?"

~Frisk's POV~
Sans and I make plans for the three of us to go to the park. After hanging up, I stare at my phone for a bit, lost in thought. "Human, huh? That's impossible."
I log into my UnderNet account and go to Papyrus' profile, where I see something unexpected. There, on his most recent post, was a picture of a pale, young, white-haired man.
(Th-there's no way that's really him, right?)
I scroll through the comments, trying to see if this is real or not.

"No way.."
I click on the second picture he posted.

(I wonder why he didn't post something of Sans, too

I click on Sans' profile, only to find that nothing has been posted for about a month.
I sigh, looking at the time on my phone.
"Crap, it's twelve already?!" I hurry and pick out a blue and purple striped tank top paired with dark blue denim shorts. After getting dressed and brushing my hair, I hear a knock at the door.
"Just a minute," I yell as I run down the stairs. I quickly put on a pair comfortable of slip on shoes before opening the door. What I see shocks me.
"Heya, kiddo. Ready to go?" the man asks.
I stare at him with wide eyes. "S-Sans? Is that..you?"
He flashes me a bright smile and ruffles up my hair. "Sure is. See? Told ya I wasn't joking."
I look past Sans to see the human in Papyrus' pictures in their car.
"Hello, human!" he shouts enthusiastically, waving at me. I wave back nervously.
"Well, are ya ready?"
I hesitantly nod, following Sans to their car. I sit in the back with Papyrus, looking back and forth between both of them as Sans gets in and starts the car.
As we start driving away, Sans speaks up.
"You're probably wondering how this happened, aren't ya?"
"Uh-huh.."
Well, it's really hard to explain why we did what we did, but.."
The rest of the way to the park, Sans and Papyrus explain that they went to a witch and she turned them into humans. I'm still really confused as to why they did it but don't question it anymore, because they seem like it's something they'd prefer not to say.
After we arrive at the park and get the car parked, Papyrus opens the trunk and attempts to pick up everything by himself. After a few minutes, I notice three girls approach him.
"Hey handsome. I haven't seen you around here before," one of the girls starts.
"This is honestly my first time being here," the former skeleton innocently admits.
"Are you alone?" Why don't you come sit with us," another girl asks.
"Oh, thanks for the offer! But I'm here with my brother and friend!"
"Aww, too bad..we could've had a lot of fun," the third girl pouts. "Isn't there any way you can come hang out with us? We're here with a big group of friends from college. We're playing some games, I think you'd have a lot of fun. Plus you could make a lot more friends."
"W-well.." Papyrus looks over at Sans and I, who are both smiling at him.
"Go ahead of you want," Sans says.
"Yeah," I add, "you always like to make new friends, so now's a good chance!"
Sans walks up to the younger male and takes everything that he was carrying as Papyrus thanks us profusely.
"Thank you, brother! Thank you, Frisk!! I'll make sure to make lots of friends!" and with that, he walks away, being led by the three ladies.
Sans sighs. "Well, looks like it's just the two of us for this picnic, huh?"
"Yeah, but I don't mind. We can still have a lot of fun, right?" I say, smiling at him.
"Heh, of course, kid."
The two of us spend the day eating, swinging on the swing set, and making jokes. I glance over towards Pap's direction every once in a while, wondering if he's okay.
(Isn't this his first time alone with a bunch of humans? I hope he's doing okay...)
Suddenly, Sans grabs my hand. "Wanna go for a walk in the woods?"
I look away and nod, feeling my face heating up rapidly.
As we walk, I try to keep my face hidden so that he doesn't see me blushing. (W-why's he holding my hand??)
I feel Sans' eyes on me as he squeezes my hand tighter, causing my face to heat up even more. (Please..don't let Sans notice my face..)
