~Frisk's POV~
When I return home from mom's, I go upstairs to my room. I sit on the end of the bed and turn on my phone, pulling up Sans' contact, wondering if I should call him. Just as I decide and am about to push the call button, my phone rings, causing me to jump. When I look at the screen it shows Sans' contact picture; a picture of skeleton Sans and I together, giving each other bunny ears and smiling. I quickly answer it.
"H-hello?"
"Hey, kiddo! How was your day? Are you feeling any better?"
I smile, despite feeling bad about what happened the other day. "I'm feeling better. My day was pretty good! I went to mom's and we talked about a lot of things. We had a lot of fun."
"Did you..talk about anything involving me?"
(How does he know?!) "We mostly talked about everything that you and I have done together lately. Why do you ask?"
"Uh..no reason. No reason," he says awkwardly. "Anyways, any chance you're free tomorrow? I'd like to show ya a place that's become my favorite spot on the island."
"I actually am free. Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise, but I think you'll like it." he says, sounding confident.
"Well..okay. What time do you want to go?"
Sounding excited, he says "I'll pick you up in the morning; around 9, if that's okay."
"Sure, I'll be ready!"
"Oh, and make sure you wear something comfortable to walk in."
"Whys that," I ask.
"We're walking there from you're place. It's pretty hard to get there by car."
"Oh, uh..alright. Will do."
"Alright, see ya tomorrow."
With that, he hangs up.
I flip backwards onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling.
(I'm not really sure how to cope with these feelings I have anymore. I get so easily flustered even by just hearing his voice..)
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. "It's okay, Frisk. You can do this! Believe in yourself."
I roll onto my side, saying "Stay determined.." before drifting to sleep.

The next morning I wake up later than I had planned to.Looking at my alarm, I notice that it's already 8:30.
"Crap, I only have thirty minutes to get ready!"
I quickly jump out of bed and rush over to my closet to find something to wear. I pick out a long, purple shirt and a pair of black leggings. (I hope this will look okay..)
After getting dressed and doing my morning hygiene, I rush downstairs to put on my tennis shoes. After tying them, I hear a knock on the door, which I quickly answer.
"Heya, kiddo. Ready to go?"
"Yep," I exclaim as I step out of my house and lock the door.
The two of us walk for a while, talking about random things along the way. After walking for about two miles, we come to a small forest.
"Through here," Sans informs me.
He grabs my hand, causing my to blush. "Watch your step, the tree roots and briars can trip you up."
I simply nod in response, hoping that he doesn't notice my blush.
After walking a short distance through the trees and brush, we come to a big clearing. In the center of the forest is a large pond with sparkling, clear water. The pond is surrounded by bright green grass and beautiful flowers.
"Wow, this is beautiful," I exclaim, taking in the sights.
Sans sits on the ground right on the edge of the forest. "Isn't it? I love coming here to get away. I hardly ever see anyone else here, so it's a great place to nap," he says with a wink.
I sit down as well. "I'm surprised not many people come here..it's breathtaking!"
"Yeah, it is. It's also now our secret place."
I look at him in confusion. "Wh-what?"
He gives me a sweet smile before saying, "You're the only person I've ever brought here. I figured you like it, since you seem to enjoy nature.
I stare at Sans in surprise. (I'm the only person he's brought here? What about the girl he likes..does she not like places like this?)
"Uh, kid," Sans questions, snapping me out of my thoughts. I laugh nervously as I rub the back of my head. "Oh, sorry, was I staring? I kinda got lost in thought."
"Don't worry about it. But are you okay?"
"Huh? Of course! I just have a lot on my mind, I guess."
"Well, I know of a few ways to distract you," he says teasingly.
"L-like what?"
"Like.." he stands up and taps the top of my head, exclaiming "Tag, you're it!" before running off.
I quickly stand up, shouting "Hey, no fair! You got a head start!" before chasing him.
We spend the day laughing, joking around, and playing childish games. Once the sun starts to set, we sit on the edge of the bank, admiring the reflection of the colorful sky in the water.
Sans lets out a content sigh. "Y'know, I wish this would last. I like being able to feel the grass, the water, the dirt..to be able to smell the fresh air and flowers.."
I look at him, a bit confused as to why he said he "wished" this would last, but I decide not to ask him.
Soon after, he stands up and offers his hand to me. I take it and he helps me up. The two of us walk slowly back to my house together, enjoying each others' company. Once we arrive, I ask if he'd like to come inside for a bit.
"Thanks, kid..but I should get home. Im dead tired," he jokes.
I smile at his pun.
In return, he also smiles, saying "I know, those puns don't really work with me being a human now. I'm still getting used to being a human, though, to be honest."
"Well, I personally think that you're great as a human or monster. You're still the same Sans either way. The same Sans that has a great sense of humor and knows how to brighten anyone's day."
I notice his face gain a blue hue as he nervously scratches his cheek, looking away from me. "Well, I'm glad you don't think of me differently either way. It means a lot to me, kid."
We exchange smiles for a moment until Sans playfully ruffles my hair. "Anyway, you should be heading to bed, too. I heard you and Tori have a lot planned this weekend."
"That's right! Tomorrow's Saturday, isn't it?!" I say in shock, surprised that the week has went by so fast.
"Sure is. Well, I'll call you Sunday night so we can make plans for sometime next week, alright?"
"Okay."
"Have a good weekend. See ya."
Before Sans has a chance to walk away, I envelop him in a tight hug.
"Hey, what's up," Sans asks, surprise present in his voice.
I only hug him tighter in response.
Sans slowly hugs me back, resting his chin on the top of my head.
After about a minute, he pats my back and pulls away from the hug. "Sleep well, kiddo."
With that, he leaves.
I walk back inside and grab ahold of my red heart locket that I had gotten from Asgore. (Why'd I do that? That's not really fair to him. Plus, I'm sure that whoever he likes wouldn't want some other girl hugging him like that..)
I slowly make my way up the staircase to my room.
"Even if it was bad to do..he still hugged me back."
I flop down onto my stomach on the bed, burying my face in my pillow. (My heart's still racing..)
After tossing and turning for a while, I finally fall asleep.

~Sans POV~
"Wow, this is beautiful," Frisk exclaims as she takes in her surroundings.
I sit down and stare out towards the water. "Isn't it? I love coming here to get away. I hardly ever see anyone else here, so it's a great place to nap," I say with a wink.
Frisk also sits down, still looking around. "I'm surprised not many people come here..it's breathtaking!"
"Yeah, it is. It's also now our secret place."
"Wh-what," she asks, seemingly confused.
I smile at her, saying, "You're the only person I've ever brought here. I figured you like it, since you seem to enjoy nature."
After saying that, Frisk stares at me.
"Uh, kid," I question, feeling a bit self-conscious under her gaze.
She seems to snap out of it and laughs nervously, rubbing the back of her head. "Oh, sorry, was I staring? I kinda got lost in thought."
"Don't worry about it. But are you okay?"
"Huh? Of course! I just have a lot on my mind, I guess."
"Well, I know of a few ways to distract you," I say teasingly.
"L-like what?"
"Like.." I quickly stand up and tap the top of her head, exclaiming "Tag, you're it!" before running off.
As I'm running, I hear her shout "Hey, no fair! You got a head start!" before chasing me.
We spend the day laughing, joking around, and playing childish games as my way to try distracting her.
Once the sun starts to set, we sit on the edge of the bank, admiring the reflection of the colorful sky in the water.
I let out a sigh, thinking of how this will be my last week spend time with her as a human. "Y'know, I wish this would last. I like being able to feel the grass, the water, the dirt..to be able to smell the fresh air and flowers.."
She gives me a quizzical look, but doesn't say anything.
Soon after, I stand up and offer her my hand to help her up. She accepts my offer, grabbing my hand and pulling herself up. The two of us walk slowly back to her house together, enjoying each others' company.
"Would you like to come in and rest for a bit," she asks once we arrive.
"Thanks, kid..but I should get home. Im dead tired," I joke.
She only smiles in response.
"I know, those puns don't really work with me being a human now. I'm still getting used to being a human, though, to be honest."
"Well, I personally think that you're great as a human or monster. You're still the same Sans either way. The same Sans that has a great sense of humor and knows how to brighten anyone's day."
I feel my face heating up as I nervously scratch my cheek, avoiding looking directly at her. "Well, I'm glad you don't think of me differently either way. It means a lot to me, kid."
We exchange smiles for a moment until I ruffle her hair. "Anyway, you should be heading to bed, too. I heard you and Tori have a lot planned this weekend."
"That's right! Tomorrow's Saturday, isn't it?!" she says, seemingly surprised.
"Sure is. Well, I'll call you Sunday night so we can make plans for sometime next week, alright?"
"Okay."
"Have a good weekend. See ya."
Just as I'm about to turn and walk away, Frisk wraps me in a tight hug.
"Hey, what's up," I ask in surprise.
She only hugs me tighter.
I hesitantly hug her back, resting my chin on the top of her head.
(God, she's so adorable.)
After about a minute, I pat her back and pull away from the hug. "Sleep well, kiddo," I say, waving as I turn and walk towards my car.
When I get home, I go straight to my room and lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling.
"One more week..just one more week and I'll go back to being a skeleton."
I close my eyes and cross my hands over my torso.
(I already decided that I wouldn't confess to her. I accepted that I'll be turning back into a monster.
So why..
..why won't these feelings go away?)
