Sorry, it's just that... my lord, this is so cringing and so overused. And even if it's not a necklace its something else like a locket or a watch. It's not really cute to me but if it is too you im okay with that.

How To Fix This: Awwwww not. I don't need another reminder that I am forever alone, thank you very much. But yes this is a little overuse when the character confesses his love with an item when he can just say 'I love you'. It will probably not be memorable to the readers. But you know what is more memorable? McDonald's. Because that will remind the readers that they are hungry.
