When author's notes are just 'ads'.
Example: I moved my hand. A/N I was too lazy to make this whole chapter but I am here to say to follow me on Wattpad, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, blah blah blah...
Why This Is Annoying: I have Instagram, but I ain't going to be like, FOLLOW ME, FOLLOWWW MEEEEEEE! I actually want people to read my books and enjoy them. My book is somehow "popular" and I have an "advantage to get a lot of followers" but I don't want followers. I want readers who actually ENJOY my books.
How To Fix This: Again, you can do whatever you want with your author's notes. You can put "follow me here here here here and herre" but I don't do that. I just highly suggest you do this at the end so people can first enjoy your book and not be annoyed, if that makes sense.
