A sleeping state got the story of Elijah's life. Again he was passed out, not having enough time to have a straight thought just after waking from a 5-year-lasting sleep.
The first thing he felt when he woke up were the shackles around his wrists. They clung to the wall behind him. He lifted an arm and pulled out of instinct, knowing deep inside that they couldn't be broken that easily. Years ago he had been in a similar situation.
When he opened his eyes, he saw the figure of a small, slender woman. At first, he was confused, but memories rushed back into his head. The mysterious lady that woke him from his magical coma.
Her arms were crossed in front of her chest and amusement was written over her face. She was completely relaxed, she definitely was no stranger to a situation were someone was chained to a wall in front of her.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty."
Elijah gritted his teeth in disgust and tried to free himself again by using his physical strength. Amelia just chuckled seeing his effort.
"Elijah, you just waste your energy, you're not going anywhere. But speaking of energy, you must be hungry, don't you? 5 years is quite a long time not to feed..."
Her voice was calm and soothing. The fake pity ruined the nice sound of her speaking.
Amelia walked to the edge of the room and got two blood bags out of a backpack. She strutted back to him and ripped a bag open while walking.
"Come near me and I will rip your throat out."
The younger vampire bursted out laughing and nearly spilled all the blood on the floor.
"Darling, it's not your turn for threats. Haven't you realized your dreadful situation? I just want to help. Please, drink, I need you in a better shape."
She held the blood bag close to him. Even tough this wouldn't be half as good as warm, flowing liquid straight from the vein, his eyes changed into the one's of a vampire. He couldn't keep his gaze off the blood. It was embarrassing for him to get fed by someone else, but he had no choice. Elijah leaned as much forward as the chains allowed him and sucked the first bag dry in a hurry.
"Such a good boy..."
Amelia purred while stroking his hair.
When he finished, a pile of empty bags was scattered around him, blood was smeared over his mouth and he was ready to kill that girl immediately. He hated to be disrespected and she was pushing his buttons. After she gave him the last bag, she grabbed a handkerchief out of the little pocket in his suit and cleaned his face.
"Now we can talk. You must've tons of questions. Ask away!"
She sat down on the stone floor, grabbed a thermos flask and a cup and poured herself some tea.
"Where's Hayley? Where are my siblings?"
Elijah's voice was low, he tried to contain his anger. It wouldn't end well if he would be consumed by his much darker side.
"Oh, sweet innocent Hayley...you must've miss her. Sorry, I'm curious, did you and your brother plan a threesome or how was this going to work?"
The Original's eyes darkened, on the edge of loosing it. When this was all done, he would rip her to shreds. Slowly.
"Just answer my questions."
"There isn't much to answer. It think she found a home somewhere in Georgia. You know, with a wooden porch, rocking chairs and a garden."
