Chapter Nine: Kidnapped

At last.... Fresh air.

Phew. The tension between everyone was giving me the chills. Jeez. So many thing in life are complicated. My feelings can't be one right?

I'm just right here at the park, sitting on a bench, listening to children's laughter while they play and appreciating the beauty of nature.

But... I feel like someone is watching me. I kept on looking behind or beside me, but nobody was there. I just shrugged it off. I inhaled and cleared my throat.

I looked around and saw a little girl crying nearby. She was in the middle of the street! I saw a bus coming towards her. So I ran as fast as I could and scooped her in my arms.

As we avoided the bus, I looked at her and smiled. "Hey baby girl. Are you alright?" I asked her. She nodded and placed her face on my chest. Then a woman yelled,

"Trixxie! Where are you?"
That must be her mother! I went to the woman and asked her, "Ughmm... Miss, is this your daughter?" I asked. She gasped and tool the girl from my arms.

"Oh! My baby! How can I thank you? I thought I lost her!" She said. I just smiled and shook my head. "Nope. No need to thank me. I'm just doing what a normal citizen would do." I replied.

"Thank you so much again. You're so kind!" The woman stated. I nodded and looked at the girl. "See you soon little one." I whispered to the girl and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

She giggled and waved. "Bye bye!" She said. I smiled and nodded. I looked at the sky. The sun is falling. I need to go back to the tower.

As I was walking back, I felt someone following me. I looked behind me and saw a black hooded man. I searched for my gun or knife.

I left it at the tower!

So, instead of panicking, I walked as fast as I could. Suddenly, someone pulled in the alleyway and placed a handkerchief on my mouth. Then everything went black.

CLINT

"What's taking Y/n so long? It's almost 8:00 p.m! She promised that she would be here before dark!" Tony said, panicking.

Tony was holding his phone, trying to dial Y/n. Catty and Athena is trying not to cry. Thor and Steve kept on walking around the living room. Natasha is just sitting down with a worried face. Bruce is trying not to hulk out, and Loki is leaning on wall with a fist on.

Me? I'm trying not to punch the wall behind me.

"Y/n never breaks her promises." I murmured. Tony's head snapped at me. "What did you just say?" Tony asked. "Tony never breaks her promises! We have to call S.H.I.E.L.D and-"

I was cut off by Tony's phone ringing. Tony answered the phone saying, "Hello?" Tony connected the speakers to Jarvis so we can hear what the caller was saying.

"This is a anonymous. We got the girl. If this is her parents, you better get 10 million dollars and bring it at the old facility near the forest beach. Don't bring police or you'll never see her alive again. You have 6 hours." The caller said then the line went dead.

I huffed. "That guys doesn't know who he kidnapped. How awful." I stated. "Who's coming with me?" Tony asked. "We will." We all said in unison.

"You guys can go. I don't want to hulk out." Bruce said and went to the lab. Loki smirked. "As long as I can have the head of the kidnapper, I'll sleep." Loki said.

"I'll punch that man's face." Steve said. "Nah. I'll take his eyeball and feed it to my hawks." I said. Natasha loaded her gun and stood up. "Let's go." She said.

I woke up tied in a chair in the middle of a dark room with one light above me. I tried squirming but I can't break free from the ropes.

"You can't escape." A voice said. I looked at the dark corner and saw a shadow. "Show yourself." I commanded. A guy went out and looked at me with a smirk.

"Your parents are on their way here. Tell me, what's your name little girl?" He asked. "Please! Let me out of here! You'll get hurt! It's for the best! The avengers! They'll come!" I yelled.

He chuckled darkly. "The Avengers? Who do you think you are?" He asked. "I'm Y/n Stark. Sister of Tony Stark. And believe me, he can be really nasty when angered." I replied.

He laughed. "Ha! You? Tony Stark's sister? Please! I've heard about that before." He stated. "Trust me. You'll get hurt. Please. Just stop this!" I pleaded.

Just then I felt a pain on my arm which caused me to yelp. "That'll teach ya." The man said. The wound on my arm started bleeding.

"Hmm... I like how you look like right now. I should add another one!" He said and raised his knife. But before he could continue, a voice said,

"I don't think so."

Then out of the shadows, Loki came out. "Loki!" I yelled with a smiled. But groaned in pain. "Huh. Loki. Are you the one who destroyed New York?" The man asked.

Loki walked circled the man. "As a matter of fact, I am." Loki said. "Really? Nice costume." The man said, smirking. Loki grinned evily and threw the knife at the man's shoulder.

"Gah!" The man yelled. Loki snapped his fingers then the rope disappeared. Then he suddenly hugged me. He held my arm and a green light came. When he let go, the wound healed. "Let's go home." Loki whispered.

"Oh no you don't." The man said taking out a gun. He shot Loki, but before he could, Steve cane out from above and protected us by his shield.

Then the ceiling got destroyed by a light and Tony, Natasha, Clint and Thor came out. The man's eyes widened. "The A-avengers... How? " He asked.

Tony hit him with his light beam. "Next time, think before trying to kidnap my sister." Tony said and punch him. "Your sister?" The man gulped.

Steve then gave than a very strong uppercut. Clint then shot an arrow at the man's shoulder, Natasha shot him on the foot, Thor hit him with the Mjolnir, Catty and Athena came from the door and punch his stomach.

"Let's go." Tony said the took me to the tower.

When we arrived at the Stark tower, everyone gave me a hug. "We're happy that you're fine." Natasha whispered. When they all pulled out from the hug, Tony went to me and hugged me tight.

"I thought I lost you." Tony said, tears in his eyes. I smiled. "I'll always be by your side no matter what." I whispered. He nodded and kissed my temple.

"I need some rest. I feel like I'll fall anytime. Goodnight guys." I said with a yawn. "Goodnight Y/n." Everyone replied in unison. But what made me smile the most, was the fact that I heard a Loki murmur,

"Goodnight, my soon-to-be-queen."
