Chapter Twelve: Permissions

After Y/n went to her room, Loki decided to go to his room too. I came with him because I don't want him to just go to Lady Y/n and confess. That's not how it goes.

"Brother, I suggest that before you confess Y/n your feelings, ask permission from the team first." I whispered to Loki. He groaned.

"Why do I have to? It's not like they're her family or something." He complained. "After years that they had time with Y/n, I think they could be considered as one." I replied.

He looked at me with a frustrated feature. "What If they decline?" He asked. I placed my hand on his shoulder and gave a comforting smile.

"They will not. As long as you keep your promise of not hurting Y/n, they will not decline." I assured. He straightened his posture and gave a deep breath.

"Alright. I'll do it. Where are they?" He asked, standing up in the process. "They're just at the living room talking to each other. Now go. I'll have to go my room. I need to some sleep." I replied.

He nodded and went out of the room still looking at me with worry. I gave out a thumbs up which he replied with a nod.

"I can do this. Nothing could go wrong."

That's what I kept on whispering to myself. I know nothing could go wrong. I'm Loki Laufeyson. I have a silver tongue. God of Mischief and Lies.

God of Mischief and Lies.

That's the point! I'm the God of Mischief and Lies! Who could love me?!? No one would! Why would I waste my time on asking permission and confessing when I know that'll I will just get rejected!

"No. Don't let your thoughts affect you. You can do this." I whispered. When I arrived at the living room, everyone was talking with each other.

I cleared my throat which made them look at me. "I want to have a word with all of you." I said, my hearting thumping fast in my chest.

I sat on the sofa, and made a huge gulp before speaking. "As you all know, I have been interested with a woman. This woman is really close to you people." I started.

They all started to get curious and sat beside me or stood up near me. I sighed and closed my eyes. "Alright. Let me take this fast and clear. I'm asking if I could suitor Y/n."

Tony chuckled. "Is that all? Of course you can— WAIT WHAT?!?!" He yelled. Steve's eyes widened. To be honest, everyone's eyes widened in surprise.

"How can I make sure that you're not doing this to avenge on us?" Natasha asked. I looked at her and answered, "I'm not. My feelings for Y/n are real."

Natasha took a deep breath and gave me a death glare. "I'll agree with this. But once you've hurt her, I'll plant a bullet on your damn stomach." She threatened.

My eyes widened but I nodded. Catty and Athena gave out a sigh and bit closed their eyes. "Alright. Athena and I will agree to. But what's the word? You break her I break your leg." Catty stated.

I nodded. "Because Natasha said yes, I will too and I will not be afraid to hit you in the foot with of my arrows if you even try to break her heart." Clint said.

"Y/n is my sister, and I know she'll be happy with this news. I will not tell you why. I will agree with this too. I trust you won't hurt her. Is that clear?" Tony asked.

"Crystal." I replied. Steve pinched the bridge of his nose and gave a sigh. "Did Thor agree with this too?" Steve asked. I nodded and replied, "He's the very first one to know this."

Steve gave out a nod of content and said, "I will throw you out of the tower with my bare hands if you even try to hurt her. Anyways, Congratulations."

"Wait. What about Bruce?" Tony asked before I could even say a word to Thank everyone. I gave out a grunt of annoyance which caused him to smirk.

We then all heard a chuckled from the kitchen. Bruce came out, holding his glasses and looking at me dead in the eye. "So you like Y/n huh?" He asked.

"Yes I do. With all my heart." I replied. He place his glasses back at his eyes and bit his lip. "Alright. I'll say yes to this. But don't blame me is the other guy tries to kill you for hurting her." He replied.

I smiled. "Thank you. Thank you so much. I owe you this one." I said with a full on grin on my face. "When are you going to tell her?" Athena asked.

"The day after tomorrow. I can't tell her now. I still have to plan this. I don't know how to confess." I replied. Tony choked in his wine.

"Yup. You need help. I'll help you prepare. But just because my sister would be happy. Why do I keep saying that? Anyways, visit me in my room tomorrow. Well have our meeting there." Tony said.

I nodded. "Well, call Y/n. It's already night and she hasn't came out of her room. It's dinner time." Natasha said. "Of course." I replied and went to Y/n's room. I knocked nervously and waited for her to open the door.

I was just reading my book in silence when I suddenly heard knock at the door. I opened it and saw Loki. My heart skipped a beat and I gulped.

"Loki! What are you doing here? I mean what are you here for?" I asked. He chuckled and replied, "Well, It's dinner time. Come on let's eat." He replied.

"Oh! Okay. Hold on." I said and placed my book back at the cabinet and went to of my room. "Let's go." I said and the both of us went to the kitchen in silence.

During dinner, everybody has been giving me a smile and Catty and Athena tried not to cry as if saying, 'You'll be alright'. It was is weird.

After dinner, I decided to ask them. "Is there something wrong guys?" I asked. "No! Nothing's wrong! Yes! Nothing!" All of them said in unison.

"Alright then." I replied. "Hey Y/n. Why don't you go to back to your room and get your beauty sleep. Catty and I will visit you tomorrow." Athena said, a but mire cheerfully than she usually does.

"Ok. Goodnight you guys!" I said and went to my room. "Goodnight Y/n!" They all yelled in unison. But what made me sleep with a smile was when I heard a familiar sly voice whisper,

"Goodnight My love"
