Chapter Thirty-Six: Worthy

I woke up smiling at the happy memory that happened yesterday. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and saw a small note on my cabinet table. I stood up and took it. It said,

Dear Y/n
         I want you to get dressed and meet us at the park. I asked Thor and Steve if you, Athena and I could go to the park to have a picnic. I know that your heart is still breaking but we need to fix this friendship. Athena agreed to go with me and I hope you do too. Be there before 10:00. I'll see you.

I sighed and looked at my alarm. 9:30. I have 30 minutes to get ready! I ran to the bathroom and took a bath as fast as I can, dried my hair, fixed it in a ponytail and wore blue jeans, a white shirt and a yellow colored converse.

I took my emergency knife and tucked it behind my back. "Just for emergency." I whispered to myself and ran to the elevator. "Morning Y/n." Everyone greeted me. "Morning! I'll be back later at noon!" I replied and literally jumped to the elevator.

I was literally panting so I took deep breaths to keep myself calm. When the elevator door opened, I ran to the park, which was a few blocks away. When I arrived, I almost collapsed if it was not Loki who caught me before I did. "Why in the nine realms ate you running?" Loki asked.

"Need... to arrive... before 10:00....." I replied panting. He help me stand up and breath. "Are you okay now?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. "Thanks." I replied. "Now, let's go to Athena and Catty. They've been thinking that you wouldn't show up." Loki said.

"Really? Jeez, these guys don't trust me." I replied. He only chuckled and lead me to a huge tree where the guys' are sitting in a blanket with a basket on top of it. "Y/n! You came!" Catty yelled. I grinned and waved. As Loki and I arrived, Athena and Catty engulfed me in a hug.

"So, are we eating brunch or not?" I asked. "Oh yes! Athena cooked pancakes and baked cookies for snacks!" Athena exclaimed. "Yeah! Catty also bought some y/f/j for you!" Athena added. I smiled and nodded. "Well, let's eat then!" I replied.

We ate for like... 40 minutes because as Loki would say, we wanted to 'indulge the taste of the pancakes'. I know. Crazy. Anyway, after we finished eating, we were looked on a conversation. Catty sitting with Steve, Thor sitting with Athena, and Loki sitting with me.

"Are you still mad at me?" Loki whispered, so that I could only hear. I gave a small smile and placed my head on his shoulder. "If I am, I wouldn't be here with you, my head in your arm, sitting under a huge tree." I replied. "Gives point." Loki chuckled.

"Why did you cheat on me?" I asked, out of nowhere. I have no idea where that came from. "I never meant to hurt you my dear. It was a mission. My mission to lure Sigyn out of Asgard. I needed to seduce her so that I could pull her to my trap." He relied.

"How could I know that you're not lying to me right now?" I asked. "You've always been able to know when I'm lying or not." Loki replied. I chuckled. This person knows me more than I know myself.

To my surprise, Loki pulled me onto his lap and placed my head on his chest. One of his arms are around my waist while the other was around my shoulder, so it was like he was hugging me.

"Loki, what are you doing?" I asked. "Please. Let me hold you like this one last time. I want to hold you like you're still mine and mine alone. Please." He begged. I was really surprised by now. His words melted my ice cold heart.

"You can always hold me like this. You only have to prove yourself worthy of my heart again if you want to own it once more." I said. It was silence for a moment before he went to kiss my head. "Thank you my love." He whispered.

I nodded and closed my eyes for a second. On a distance, I saw Thor hugging Athena by her waist and her head on his shoulder, like Loki and I's position earlier. Catty and Steve on the other hand, was crying their hearts out and hugging tightly.

Jeez. Why do I feel like this is some kind of cliche fanfiction? Like some kind of... romantic movie. Goodness.

"Guys? Maybe it's time to go back to the tower. Besides, I have to show you something." I said to everyone. "Sure. Let's go." Athena said. We started to fix everything and place all the things in the basket. After that, we started to leave.

As we left, Thor's arm was never leaving Athena's waist. Steve's arm was also never leaving Catty's shoulder. It was quiet and awkward for me and Loki. That is, until he took my hand to his. I looked at him blushing. He smiled at me and kissed my temple.

I noticed his hand turning blue. I looked at him and smiled. "I prefer you in your Jotun form." I whispered. He chuckled and shook his head. "Pweaty pwease?" I said in a baby voice, hugging his waist causing us to stop.

He sighed and nodded. "Fine. But, I need to make us invisible." He said. I smiled and nodded excitedly. He turned into his Jotun form and a green light went through us. So, I expect for us to be invisible.

I was hugging him while we're walking, which was slightly hard and weird, but it made both of us laugh like goofballs. "Y/n, you have to let go. We won't fit through the door." He whispered.

I let go and ran to the elevator. Loki ran behind me too and he was back in his real form so I guess we're uninvisible now. Thor, Steve, Athena and Catty entered and It was silent all the way up but the awkward and romantic tension was very thick.

💚A/n: Wazzup you guys! I am so excited because I'll be watching Thor: Ragnarok tomorrow and please, wish for me that there is only a little number of people who will watch it in my country please!!!! I need to watch it! I already made myself ready for all the bad things that's about to happen! Don't ruin dreammmmmmssss!! Anyway, I'll see you guys in the next chapter. Buh-Bye!!!💚
