Chapter Seventeen: Stay

I still haven't got my mind off since yesterday. And... I'm 20! I'm grown woman. I still feel like a girl though.

I mean... even though I'm am an official woman now, that pretty much doesn't mean my attitude or characteristics will change.

Today, I woke up, same routine as always. Nope. Not really. As I was about to exit my room, A woman's voice whispered "Wake up my child."

As soon as I heard that, my eyes shot up and I looked everywhere but I saw nobody. I just shrugged it off and continued to walk out of my room

I felt someone whispering but I saw nobody behind me. I was just about to think that Loki was pranking me but when I saw Loki sitting with Thor in the living room, I froze.

Here are the 3 reasons why I froze: 1.) That means I'm literally hearing voices. 2.) Loki is sitting with Thor and both of them had troubled looks. 3.) Athena is in a distance crying while being comforted by Catty.

I snapped out of it and looked at Loki with a confused look. "What's happening?" I asked. I looked at Athena which was sobbing uncontrollably. Thor is in a verge of tears.

Loki on the other hand was giving me a sad look. He sighed and said, "Thor and I.... are going back to Asgard for... a month. We're... going today." Thor was now crying silently.

"Is that all? You're coming back anyways. So what's the deal?" I asked softly, trying to hide the tears, pain and sadness which was inside.

Loki sighed and gestured at me to sit beside him. I walked over, sat beside him and placed my head over his shoulder. He kissed my temple and closed his eyes.

"We're going to a war. Fartalheim (I made that up) is declaring war against Asgard. Their Queen, Evelyn, with her sister, Sigyn, wants to rule Asgard." Thor explained, still looking at the floor.

"Who's Evelyn? I mean... what is she all about?" I asked, getting curiouser and curiouser. Loki sighed and looked away. Thor gave Loki a death glare.

"As I said, she's the Queen of Fartalheim. She's also Thor's... past love interest. Sigyn was my past love interest. But I forgot about her a long time ago. I don't know if that makes it either a lot easier or harder to defeat them." Loki explained.

"But... In the Norse Mythology book, Evelyn is Loki's servant, and Sigyn is Loki's wife. How can that be possible?" I asked. Thor gave out a chuckle. "Not all that are written in those books are real Y/n." Thor said.

I just inhaled and bit my lip. I sat up straight, taking my head off Loki's arm in the process. "I...It's absolutely fine. Just... just be safe." I said and looked away.

Loki grabbed my chin and made me look at him. "I vow to you that'll I will come back as soon as the war has been ended." He said. I just nodded.

I felt my hand turn into a fist. Loki places a hand on my fist and caressed it. I gave out a deep exhale and nodded. "Okay. Okay. Go. Just... keep the vow you gave in mind. Alright?" I said.

He kissed my lips and replied, "I will always keep that vow in mind." He whispered. I smiled and stood up. "So... I guess this is a goodbye." I murmured.

I looked as Loki's eyes as he gave out a sad smile. Thor stood up too and looked at Athena. Athena sobbed even more and ran to Thor. They both shared a passionate kiss before saying their goodbyes.

After all the goodbyes, Loki gave me one last kiss on the lip before saying, "Heimdall, take us to Asgard." Then the sky went dark and a light appeared above Thor and Loki then the both of them disappeared.

Athena was now crying like she saw someone kill somebody. "Athena, stop crying. Be strong for Thor." Catty whispered to her. I gave Athena a wink and a thumbs up and walked back to my room.

The team was nowhere to be found. But I can hear snores from their rooms though. They're probably still exhausted from the party yesterday.

I groaned as I plopped myself into my bed. Then I heard the woman's voice say again, "I told you love was weakness."

"Who are you! Show yourself!" I yelled. No one replied so I sighed in defeat. "Look Y/n. Your hearing things now. The only thing that could make this weirder is.... actually.... nothing is weirder than what's happening right now." I murmured to myself.

"He'll cheat on you." The woman's voice whispered again. I groaned and slapped myself. "I'm going nuts." I said to myself. Then I heard a knock at my door.

"It's open." I yelled. The door opened then Catty, Natasha, Steve, Bruce, Clint and Tony came in with sad faces. "We heard about what happened." Tony said.

I sat up, smiled and rolled my eyes playfully. "You guys. Stop being so serious. I'm fine. It should be Athena which you're comforting. Not me." I replied.

"She's the one who's absolutely breaking down right now. As you guys say, I have a golden heart, and Gold is strong. It's not fragile. Now go to Athena." I continued.

All of them gave out smiled and nods. "Just call us if you need anything." Natasha whispered to me before walking out. After all of them walked out of my room, I gave out a sad sigh.

I bit my lip to stop myself from tearing up. "Miss Y/n, have you eaten breakfast yet?" Jarvis asked. "No. I haven't. Why have you asked?" I replied.

"I'm just trying to Bacon Structive miss." I chuckled and looked on the ceiling. "Nice pun Jarvis." I replied. "Is there something wrong miss Y/n?" Jarvis asked.

"I Donut want to Taco 'bout it." I replied, trying to hold out my laughter. "You're learning fast miss Y/n. Nice." Jarvis stated. "Thank you Jarvis. You just made my day. Can you please deliver bacon and eggs?" I asked.

"You're welcome and of course. Right away miss." Jarvis replied. A few minutes had passed and Jarvis had delivered me my breakfast.

I know I can survive a month without Loki. I can do this. Let's do this.
